This is a surrealistic movie. And the script makes as much sense as any 007 movie. Actually it´makes much more sense than any Daniel Craig movie. And it is much funnier, and the soundtrack is the best

Yes, a true genius who gave us so much joy in his performances either in an early Goon show or hit Hollywood movie. His private life was another thing entirely, as far as we know.

Quite strange how he says he was born in Yorkshire when actually his birthplace is Southsea - at the opposite end of England! He must have been very ill with his talk of "at my time of life" - he had only just turned 54! Thanks for finding and sharing this.

@@timelordvictorious It's not terrible. On a scale from "The Great McGonall"-to-"Being There," it's somewhere around "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland." Great production value, but the comedy is painfully absent.

Herd this film was a bit of Disaster for Peter sadly.apparently he asked to marry the German actress in shot in the dark wonder if it was Awkward for them to act in this film?

Thin line between crazy and genius, he managed to teeter on the edge of both for good and bad. Brilliant comedian and actor when he got to show off his range. Side note: what's he fidgeting with at the start?

Wonderful insanity , joyous whimsy , self-deprecating sly silliness, call it what you will . A film such as Casino Royale can never be made again . We take ourselves much , too much F-ing serious . And we are poorer for it.

I adore Peter sellers.love his patriotism and piss on anyone who hated him because he was sick, not bad,all the stuff he complaining about USA Cali culture is now sadly the same here,Americans in Cali are just too out there ,it must be so frustrating for right minded folk from Texas or anywhere away from the crazy 3 or 4 states that push this crazy woke agenda,we ain’t like that here,he liked real people which u could say is a surprise given how crazy and out there his work was,he must have wanted normality away from work rip🇬🇧👍🇺🇸

Feldman's Casino Royale(1967) was a campy mess. It felt like a parody of the 1960's spy movie-mania. The music score by Burt Bacharach and Herb Alpert is a keeper. EON got the Casino Royale film rights in the year 2000.

I'm thankful that Blake Edwards kept the raw footage. Most directors would just throw every unused bit in the garbage. This is also the reason how the Trail of the Pink Panther was completed.

The constant twists and turns become annoying after a while. The cast is superb and the story is entertaining, without being original. It turns out Alec Guinness did die after all and that his character wasn't blind. Sidney Wang's children were adopted.

A right bloody waste of time and money! All those different directors and writers working on the film and failing to salvage anything. "Casino Royale" (1967) is a terrible film and a classic example of self-indulgence.

Peter Sellers and Blake Edwards don't look too comfortable in each other's company. They don't acknowledge each other or anything. Filming "The Pink Panther Strikes Again" was a nightmare for Blake Edwards.
