I love the Firestone Sure Trax (or maybe Super Trax) tread pattern on the LRs! Reminds me of the tires on my dad's old 68 C10. I wish I could find something like that for my Gladiator. I really dig the vintage look.

She hit that cone because she obviously against her will followed her spotter's incorrect directions. You can tell she was trying to do it right. Just shows your spotter is not always right. Good on her even though she got the penalty.

Just shows the over engineering of things back then made for the old girl still running so good after 70+ years .I’ve owned many British classics from the 40’s ,Austin’s to 60’s mk2 jags to the 70’s ford escorts .many series 3 landrovers .and I’ve never had one that’s left me stranded by the road ..simplicity and maintenance is the key to these vehicles still running many many years after they were made …there’s no such thing as a bad vehicle .only bad owners …

Another great adventure Stan!!! Thank you for sharing it with us. After watching nearly every one of your videos, you have inspired my next Jeep build. I was lucky to be given a CJ6 with nearly as much original paint as your Jeep. Do you do anything special to keep the rust from getting worse on your rig or just sand it back with friendly rocks on the trail? Take care and can't wait for the next adventure!!!
