I’m watching this in preparation for my pc in a few weeks. I’ve got the same case and a slightly different gpu and cpu combo (3080ti + 5900x). Also very brave to go with water cooling on your first build, I went air cooled just because it’s too much of a hassle for me. I also use that same ifixit kit as well.

omg so cute !! im planning to do the same w my gmmk pro :3 what spray paint did you use and did you sand before u sprayed? would love if you could do a full detailed tutorial

Hi, Jennifer! I sanded it a little bit so the paint will stick 😂 I used Krylon spray paints (got them at Lowe’s). The one thing I would say you must pay attention to is making sure you securely tape sections that you don’t want painted and to wait until a layer is completely dry before doing another. First build, yes. I wanted the EKWB (nickel) but they were always OOS that time 🥲 Definitely for my 2.0 though ☺️

@@ninibeartv holy shiz for a first build u did great, im thinking for a similar approach (for the water cooling) cause of temps and my old case, for the fittings it isn’t a problem as the ekwb’s HQ and store are 20 minutes away from where i live and they allways have stock haha!
