Would love to see more videos on the Triumphs of the Canadian Armed Forces either past or present. One battle of interest would the the lesser known Battle of the Medak Pocket in Croatia.

War crimes. Western nations never fail to claim to be the “heroes” and “liberators” while simultaneously massacring innocents. “ecstatic to kill germans”, these people are nothing but glorified psychopaths. We still see it happening today in eastern europe and the middle east, and the people living in the west cheer it on.These are the people who dominate geopolitics and decide what’s right and wrong in other nations. Disgusting and inhumane

Imagine barging into a country fighting amongst itself boasting you'll clean up and save them just to benefit the rich from war, then giving up when there's nothing else to gain and tell your nation that you've won the war but in reality you've left their country in a big mess and more fucked up and corrupt then it was in the first place 😂

Highly recommend to visit Münster (it has been mostly re-built, beautiful city atm) and the city museum At the end of the war only a couple of hundreds inhabitants were there, the city was completely devastated (despite on not having military targets there)

We were part of Linebacker I and II 1972 usskittyhawkcva63 My watch in #4MMR P1Div MM was throttles so I was busy with orders from DCC (damage control central) as to the speed of the #4 screw during flight ops. Very exiting for an 18 year old but I had my shit together, enough for me to stand Top Watch twice on the way home.

The numbers involved and she sheer destruction and loss of lives caused is nothing short of insane. War is hell. We should count us all lucky that we have seen relative peace since then. Thousands are dying in Ukraine now, and it's horrendous. But even all that still doesn't measure up to the scale of warfare seen here.

This is false. The recordings are public record now and you can hear the Israelis say its an American ship. It also was flying an oversized America flag. They were told to sink it anyways. They even were shooting at the life boats which is illegal under international law. They even said to leave the sibking for the Israeli navy so " the navy can have something to do" You're intentionally leaving alot of information out.

I’d say Halsey’s greatest blunder was not necessarily not leaving ships behind (it can be forgiven for falling for an enemy trap). But that when he took every single ship, He didn’t inform the other fleet WHEN HE TOOK THEM because he should have fucking known that he was purposefully leaving the northern flank open. Even if he believed it was safe. You don’t just leave a flank completely exposed. If he had at the very least informed the other fleets they could have been made aware of their undefended flank and place someone to keep an eye out for possible enemy fleet. While it still wouldn’t fully excuse Halsey, it would have greatly mitigated the disaster of Taffy 3.

What people forget is the Japanese weren’t as nice as they are now. They’d rape people in war, cut people still alive, very horrible things… they didn’t surrender after killing 4+ million people.

Interesting. As I recall this story these pilots suffered psychological problems and even killing themselves. Of course recorded history was twisted around claiming these men suffered no problems and were heroes. Like the holocaust facts get twisted and made different than reason tells us. Wrong and evil things have a creepy way while the truth has a way of seeping through. That's as I see it.

Good for the ameicans that many of the generals and officers had made deals hence a huge chunk of the Iraqi army didnt fight hard like the fedayeen saddam and some units. The whole army digging in to fight in the cities would have made the battle more deadly

@@butterballin3686 and your point? Are you using a sophomoric red herring fallacy to distract one’s attention that using nuclear weapons on civilians was a horrible result of war by justifying it through the mention of the other sides atrocities? As a teacher with a clear credential in English a masters in education and an undergraduate degree in literature and communications I grade you: F Lack luster display of rational, and trying to manipulate one i to justifying an act of violence by trying to redirect to another atrocity of war. You are an underachiever, a simpleton, and were quite possibly a dullard with below average cognitive abilities.
