So what allows these "Pro" Bass Fishermen to perform at the highest levels and perform well isn't their athletic, agile, physical and mental abilities, but instead it's how expensive and how advanced their technologies are. Surprising! 🤔😂

Cheating? No. Should it be banned from tournament's? Absolutely. It's just not affordable enough at this time to be used in the derby type tourney's, in my opinion. Now you should be able to use it as much as you want when prefishing though.

FYI, in Michigan at least , fish not hooked in the mouth must be immediately returned to the water. Those sight fishing rules are set by tournament organizations not the state.

All i got to say about it is if you have livescope and you suck during a tournament i wouldnt tell noone you have it on your boat lmao

That’s what I’m saying. At least for now, since not everyone has it. Once it becomes more common on the majority of boats, then it wouldn’t be as sad to do poorly without it. Also certain lakes and situations it doesn’t give you a huge advantage, but if there is an off shore bite then it’s absolutely key 🔑

I thought the Alabama/umbrella rig was banned because its a lure that ends up at about 60.00 in cost and was an unfair advantage due to all anglers not able to afford to have a dedicated set up/equipment and several lures on their boat. Mostly young new anglers turning pro vs established pros with lots of sponsors. So if a 500 dollar rod and a 60.00 dollar lure is an unfair advantage how is it that a panoptic set up thats in the thousands of dollars not the same unfair advantage if not more so?

Is it cheating? That's a hard question to answer. Electronics have played a huge part in the fishing world for years. Was it cheating when graphs first hit the market? I know everyone wanted one. What if someone came out with a tool that caught the fish for you? I just wonder where it stops? When do people draw a line in the sand? If live scopes start to hurt fisheries because so many people keep the fish is that when a line is drawn? I have mixed feelings about live scopes but for the most part I don't think they are a good thing.

In my opinion livescope isn’t cheating it’s just another tool a fisherman can use. Yea it’s not the most affordable thing but to those who can afford it don’t blame them on buying it lol. A lot of people think flogging fish shouldn’t be allowed don’t really see why it’s been around for decades now

Live scope sucks. I have completely lost interest in tournament bass fishing because of this. All the mystery and excitement of it is destroyed by this technology. Thanks for the video though.

It is only cheating if everyone else in the tournament doesn't have it. If everyone in the tournament has livescope or mega360 vision or the other one and Noone is left out then it is 100% ok

With all the new tech, live scope, panoptics, it just puts you on the fish. It doesn't make them bite. That's still up to the angler. No. Not cheating, just another advantage.

This is very true, you definitely still have to catch them. I just know it definitely puts extra fish in the boat for us at least. The fish in this tournament were tightly packed on certain areas, and knowing that there were a ton of fish down there and being able to see real time allowed us to pick them off one by one. They moved around quite a bit during that as well and I know for a fact that without livescope we would have maybe caught 2 fish off that spot and moved on.

It takes away more than half the battle. Finding the fish, specifically the big fish, used to be a skill. Now theres nowhere for them to hide.
