That's a song I wrote for my band at the time that had the working title "13 Nipples". I give the most ridiculous working titles I can think of as I tend to remember the songs better that way and around the time of writing this I had heard that Opossums have 13 nipples.

Experiencing Need for Speed flashbacks right now 😂 I don't know. I could try, I suppose. I believe Wayne Static used 1960 cabs with T75s and occasional V30 blends. A big part of that sound could be solid state amps though

Topic on "How to Get that 2000's Static - X Guitar Tone Vibe" (Especially - "The one" track🤟) could be nice video to all Millennials genre, which childhood was about Nfs Games and listening that industial, core heavy metal songs 😁 these tracks brings best childhood memories every time 🙂 Your Irs are good and have that nice Mid Vibe so i think you are able to do that🤟

Going through these shooutouts for a second time, one thing I notice that I notice with IRs too is the compared to most speaker the v30 has a steep roll-off into that massive high mid peak. It's something I often do eq wise both live and recording when not happy with the cut of a speaker. A resonant low pass often works really well, the v30 almost has it built in but very aggressively.

Great Video, and thank you for the work. I think you concluded what I always suspected ( V 30's would make a great fort , haha) no that there was very little difference and or varience in them. I just could not believe they would change the build process to have different models of the same damn speaker. For what it's worth I have a hard time finding a speaker that I like better than V30's.

I want to like these Jensen speakers but this just sounds like everything I dont like about vintage Jensens and high powered celestions combined. Like a cross between a K100 and a vintage alnico Jenson. That is the modern high gain use though maybe with a more harmonic open clean amp in a 212 it might work, amps where the vintage 30 is nasal sounding normal.
