I’ll never own another one. Currently happy with Yamaha- not as “pretty” but starts and runs every time.

In the rest of the world, the people who help you when you’re broken down at the side of the road are called Fellow Motorcyclists. Doesn’t matter what you ride.

What’s happening is that in a feminist influenced school system certain character attributes which one might associate with masculinity such as risk taking and competitiveness, and proficiency in math have become regarded as toxic, and are discouraged in the students. But of course the other thing is that motorcycles, after the ‘you meet the nicest people’, revolution of the sixties, have gone back to being too big, too heavy, too scary, too fast, and too expensive, and some of those adjectives also apply to the people who ride them

They don't seem to have any fear about viruses. I take precautions after riding for 55 years, and the same idea around possible infections. Maybe that's just me. It also may be a rural/urban difference. My wife and I love your little Cassidy. (You'll need a Teeshirt, "You can't tell me what to do; you're not my daughter!") Or in my case.."one of my daughters!" Cheers from the Pacific West Coast of Canada.

Not many people can afford a Harley now since Joe Biden really messed up our country and economy. People can’t hardly afford to live anymore much less buy a Harley since Joe rigged the election and became our president

Here in the UK the weather is too wet I think. And kids hang out online now. Think about putting all you kit on, firing up a bike, travelling to your destination in the rain, and coming back just a few hours later because of school or work still sodden from the first trip. Why not stay in and see all your friends on webcams in the dry without the danger or discomfort? You can get a really good gaming PC for less than a cost of a bike. And the mobile phone charges much less insurance. They are a different generation.

personally I will never own another HD, my VRod had very poor finish work, so bad that i actually cut myself on flash that was not removed from the rear pan. HD raising prices and seemingly either cutting corners or the builders just don't care

Millenials are risk averse because our parents constantly beat the fear of EVERYthing into our heads from a young age. I'm 30 and still trying to undo all the damage that upbringing did to my psyche.

I'm GenX and a Royal Enfield fan boy. I value style and dependability at an affordable price. I would consider adding an Indian to my garage but will probably go with a Super Meteor 650 when I sell my Interceptor. Also, my wife loves her RE Hunter 350 as her beginner bike.

Harley should have bought Royal Enfield for the entry-level global market. Instead of paying a hundred million for MV Augusta and writing it off. When they were big they made bad decisions. Led by people who weren’t very talented but at that point a drunken pig could have run the company and showed a profit, so no one seemed to notice.

I'm a millennial, I own three Harleys, and that's the only motorcycle brand I have been interested in since I was about five years old. Anyone who says they're too expensive needs a better job. If you own a business, work in finance like me, or are a tradesman, you can afford a Harley.

Two reasons I’d never own a Harley. A, the ridiculous prices! It just seems to me that all you’re paying for is the name. B, and you touched on it a bit, is the attitude of many Harley owners. It’s really a wonder they can ever get under a bridge with those noses being so high up. I can’t even begin to tell you how many Harley riders I’ve seen that won’t even acknowledge the customary wave, or even look in your direction because you’re not on a Harley. I own a Suzuki Boulevard, and an Indian Scout. The only other brand riders that could possibly be more arrogant would be the BMW riders. Seriously, just because these people are riding such expensive bikes, it doesn’t make them better than anyone else!

I grew up in a era we built tree forts, did wheelie on bicycles, rode bicycles like dirt bikes, rode mini bikes, dirt bikes worked on bicycles and mini bikes, hot rods cars. We didn't wear helmets on bicycles. Drank water from a garden hose Todays kids or soft. We were all tough little shits running around. We had heros like Evil Kneivel, cars race legends, TV super stars we looked up to.

As a young child I was fascinated by motorcycles. I wanted a mini bike at age 6. My dad said yes my mom said no. The no always won. Even later in life when I was able to make my own choices I didn't purchase a motorcycle for the love and respect I had for my mom. My mom passed away in 2020. After grieving the loss of my mom, I remembered how much I was drawn to motor cycles. At age 61 I purchased my first motorcycle. A 2022 Harley Davidson Road King Special. I truly enjoy the freedom of riding and my mom is always on my mind when I ride. I don't regret waiting so long to ride. The time made me a safe and skilled rider.

I have owned 20+ motorcycles 1 of which is a Harley. I love it for what it is but I bought it used for $6000. The fit and finish is great, the performance is lacking but that's okay as I prefer riding a slow bike fast. No way would I ever pay $30,000 for any motorcycle - $5,000-$10,000 is the sweet spot.
