i always wonder how it "works" to photograph a fast moving group of individuals that are still clearly recognizable like you can't ask everyone before or after taking the picture and even if you have a smaller number of people or just one person youre photografing so its possible and easy to ask before, than it maybe destroys the moment and isnt as authentic than if you just capture the moment soooo thats my question how it works because i really want to get into visual journalism :)

My nokia x100 can take some decent pics,although,if I zoom in before taking the pic,the picture is a little blurry. I tried uploading to one of the stock photo sites and my pics didn't meet the requirements.

Thanks for this. Just signed up and wondering about release forms on certain shots. Say a crowd shot, of people that can be recognised at an event? A wide shot say, how could they all get a release form? Or is that sort of shot ok? Same as buildings. If it's featured, as in, central in the shot, then you need a release form. The chances of getting one are very low. Sad times

Glad to see you back! Even real estate has become saturated. I think more and more of just pursuing black and white film, making prints, and trying to sell them. If I am going to become poor from photography, I might as well enjoy the journey.

What about Adobe Stock photography contributors? Is Adobe spying on their computers for AI training as well? Cheers!

At what amount of uploading does an amount of money start to show? I am thinking it takes at least 1000 or more at each site to make this work, pay. What is your experience?
@NicoleGlass13 күн бұрын
Yeah I mean it's hard to put a number to it. For example, I took photos of the president a few years ago and that one photo brought in like 90% of my earnings that year. So it didn't matter if I had 100 or 1000 other photos, because that one photo was the winner. But yes, you want to get thousands up for sure -- video is best nowadays.

At this time up to upload 1000 photos as editorials on Shutterstock and a week ago I received 10 pences. It's been a week since I don't upload there. I don't know if I'll be up to upload there to continue to receive this amount. It is complicated to upload editorial images and supposedly only receive this value. It's normal? What advises me?

I'm only seeing earnings of about 10$ a month on a portfolio of 1300 landscape, travel, and wildlife images. It really seems challenging to make any money with this gig. Any recommendations?

But the fact is that your decisions to shoot specific types of images an videos are in fact governed by the profileration of AI. So, a photographer who actually wants to shoot clouds and trees just have to give up?

Hi . Thank you for your channel, it's one of the few I follow. Do you think it's bad right now to just upload AI images to Adobe Stock and photos taken by me to Shutterstock? I ask you this because Shuterstock has the option for editorial images and Adobe Stock doesn't have that option. This is one of the many questions I would like to ask you, but over time I will ask you the others. Continuation of your magnificent and videos. THANKS

Haha my lens can’t zoom in for miles. But anyway, if you click on the related video, you can hear the whole story, it’s a 15 min long video talking about that whole experience
@sharonolsen6579Ай бұрын
@@NicoleGlass ahhh .. thanks for clarification.. i may have become a tad cynical in light of so many "doctored" videos on the net... oh.. and what I meant about the bear being miles away was that the footage could have been taken in a different location. from the actual berry picking. anyway.. the bear was awesome to be sure ...☺ i will watch the long version.. i always prefer them to shorts.. have a great day !
@NicoleGlassАй бұрын
@@sharonolsen6579 Yeah I get it. But honestly, you can't win with the internet. If I had taken a selfie with the bear I would have been eaten alive by commentators telling me how stupid I am. But no selfie makes it perhaps hard for people to believe it. So yeah... the internet is a rough place :)
