The liver is almost NEVER BEYOND REPAIR. ALMOST. it would have to be almost completely compromised in order for that to be true. Keep all toxins out, stop eating ALL PROCESSED FOOD. and even if its prescribed to you by your doctor and you pick up said prescription/s. THOROUGHLY research them coupled with YOUR EXACT SITUATION. ypu need to exercise. Even if you have days or times when you "cant" do something or be active in some way, do it anyway. No matter how hard it is. Change everything you do and focus on healing. Even if all you can do at that time is think about healing. We have neurons throughout our body. They do communicate with each other. Research research research research research research research as much as you can and then research some more. Treat yourself right, you can be given a 2 month left to live time frame and pull out of it. Not everyone, but with strong will, determination and a strict regimen for your life ALOT CAN AND WILL HEAL. i can't stress to stop eating ALL PROCESSED FOODS and KEEP OUT ALL TOXINS. This can't be stressed enough.

Not just that but its getting people to understand that it could just as easily be you or your spouse or your children. That it crosses all races all countries and from the very poor to the very rich. That for the most part drug addicts are not bad people. Almost everyone has an addiction to something be it shopping or gambling, drugs or money. Some are legal and some are not. Some would argue that the legal ones dont hurt anybody but thats just not true. What we need to do is quit judging others especially when it is something we do to make ourselves feel better about ourselves, superior if you will so we can convince ourselves that this couldnt possibly happen to us or people we know

I was clean for 2 weeks until I relapsed. When I did I thought that was it for me in terms of quitting weed. Right now I’m on day 3. Reason why I’m quitting is because I hate the idea of being a slave to a substance so much that I would lash out at anyone when I didn’t get a fix.

Im addicted to Kratom so badly. I can’t really get help because it’s not considered a drug. It absolutely has control over me and my life. I feel so hopeless and alone. My family has no clue how bad I am doing. Every day is a struggle. I did this to myself. I’m just tired. If it wasn’t for my kids and wife I’d just end this daily battle.

If I didnt drink alcohol (2-4 drinks a day) I would go back to smoking for sure. I exercise 5x a week, walk every day, and eat pretty clean. Booze is my vice and if didnt drink I would be high strung and angry all the time

As far as withdrawals my acute withdrawals were manageable, wasn't till about 4 months things really started to get hard, im 7 months off and still have a hard time but not as bad as month 4-6. the acute withdrawal was a sprint, post acute withdrawal feels like the marathon

2 months off weed and honestly I feel great. Now I'm starting to quit smoking cigarettes, I feel as though I was only doing it out of habit and to self medicate and to escape trauma

Exactly, "treatment" of opiod withdrawal. Not supposed to stay on these meds long term. Ive been on subs now for 5 yrs, 8mg. Want to get off, by lowering my dose and tapering. My doc doesn't want to. They want to keep you on these meds. Not about getting.better, its about money. So, I will take it into my own hands.

Ive been on paxil over 20 years and the doctors never understood when i said it feels like zaps to my brain . Im glad that these are now known. Ive tried several times to get off paxil but u cant get thru it. Its got me chained . I feel like it orevents me from feeling things emotionally that i should be feeling. I rarely cry and i feel like i need to, to release that emotion. So lost.

Anyone with an info. I drink about 8 to 12 shots every 3 days. Just at night. I went cold turkey and im 120 hours without alcohol. Should i be afraid of DT if im only having mild symptoms, increase in anxiety, brain fog amd alittle shaky from the anxiety. Headache and stomach pain
