I’ve been switched up my putting putter to maidens and have been enjoying them a lot . All those I hit my longest putt today with my gateway shaman at 100ft ! Ripped a backhand and line drived right into the chains ⛓️💥 . Had some great disc golf today ! Bang chains AC!

Love your videos. Inspired me to start doing field work, and did my first field day this week. I'm a bit behind you, just started working on getting my midrange to 300' averages before I work on drivers getting 350-400.
@acfrisbee11 күн бұрын
that is the way to do it! you might not be too far behind me! my mids really only go 300 max on flat ground
@timeandspacevintage338015 күн бұрын
Try to keep your head out of the throw, you are turning it backwards too early making your reach back early and turning it forward too early making your shoulders over rotate which is part of the rounding issue. You have to learn to let the throwing arm beat your shoulders.
@acfrisbee12 күн бұрын
thank you for the comment! i will take a look at that
@NickCarroll16 күн бұрын
The more hip/shoulder separation you have, the greater the amount of coil. Basically the more you rotate your shoulders, relative to your hips, the better. When you think of coil, it should be “how much more rotated my shoulders are, compared to the hips. I'm not a coach of course, but I'd recommend you go to the Overthrow and Slingshot channels, and use the search feature for both, and type in "coil" as the search term. OT has 3 videos in particular that he covers it explicitly, you might watch in chronological order. SS has several, so you might do the same, or pick and choose.

Your lean, and your approach, cross step action, appear to be a bit of an issue, not like "it's a problem", just that it needs work. I worked heavily with putters first for general power, then mids to get used to trying to push for power and control, then moved to perfect full stream ahead distance driver run ups with 400ft+ behind them. You appear to have lanky enough arms, a good grip for added spin, and a decent snap... is believe you already got this. Is personally pull something like a corvette on a lightly lifted anhyzer line, or maybe a shryke, though it's flippier... as those have consistently helped push my own friends to 350+ and or 400's MUSCLE in some putters and mids at top weight a bit to warm up, then drop to a lightly flippy 168-174 distance driver, and draw it down from 100% effort to 95% to add for smoother throws, and your distance will go way up, and fairly quick. I'm a lanky and not muscley dude, almost 40 years old, and I've broken 500ft numerous times with good wind, when 2 years ago 400 was a one in a thousand throw. Keep at it bro, it looked like you've already got it potentially
@acfrisbee12 күн бұрын
i appreciate the comment! i will try this out in my next field day! really get into some putters and mids then tell myself smooth 90-95% for some drivers!

One thing I see is during your x step your turning your hips around a little too far backwards. Back facing the target is great but hips being more parallel to throw and coiling the upper body against the parallel hips has helped me with distance. Cheers.

thank you for the tip!
@johannorberg417424 күн бұрын
@@acfrisbee I would +1 this. This is also a major reason you lean and will swoop the swing which causes nose up/air bounce. Also since you rotate your body alot it will decrease accuracy and you most likely will have a lot of right to left spread in releases.
