I will say, i went to rebrickable and did skmething great. JRBricks_22 made $3.34 instructions. I uploaded his list and it showed $113 base. I took out all the pieces I have and got it down to $84. All in all, for the instructions and the pieces+ shipping cost me $113.08. I dont have the pieces in yet but im quite excited.

I think the main thing is the price tag, GCC has basically almost the same price tag for a lot of figures that CAC made and I think for the price tag I would expect more detail so I prefer CAC

Omg why are the front turrets so fragile? Is there a trick to putting both hemi sphere pieces in? Every review ive seen they just grab the barrel pieces and it moves smoothly and freely. I do that and it falls apart. Whats going on?

I really don't understand the hype for GCC. CAC figures are more detailed, better quality and cheaper when buying on sale. Why would you want a less detailed figure if you're paying that much money to get it? To match the Lego style? Lego doesn't have a style, Lego just has a bunch of cost cutting measured stuck together and what we get is the result of that. Their motto is just "good enough"

1. An argument could be made that CAC is over detailed. A lot of people like myself prefer to have their figures match LEGOs style of design. 2. GCC and CAC are exactly the same in terms of quality. They both use pad prints on official parts and custom injection molded parts. 3. GCC is cheaper 9 times out of 10. And waiting for a sale kinda puts people off. I love GCC and CAC. Both are good companies run by good people. No need to dog on one. It's really all down to personal preference. Also their motto is "good enough"? Where on earth did you hear that?

@@ewokpilot3674 1. When paying $30 a figure, you want it to look as good as possible. Lego does not have a style; they could do 360 printing, it's just too expensive. CAC does what Lego could do, but won't. GCC does what Lego should do, but still won't. 2. The printing itself is just as good, but when looking at accessories - such as the awful, 15 year old oversized, ugly visors, that just feels inferior. 3. I would consider buying GCC - especially for grunts or less important characters, but they're somehow MORE EXPENSIVE that CAC, even at full price. Sinker is $30 at GCC and $27 at CAC - and that's before accounting for the frequent sales which go to as much as 30%. So you pay more to get less printing and attention to detail? In regards to the motto, MandR had a QA where he was asked what Lego's motto would be if they were to update it to what they produce now - he said "good enough" and I just love the answer. The new 212th helmets, Fox, Fives... Really no fucks given here

J's Little Things figures are the best in my opinion. Their figures have side printing, and their value is much better. I get 13 figures for $25. My problem with GCC is that it costs at least $25 a figure. I'm not filthy rich so I can't army build with them. I don't even want to know how much that cost you!

For clone troopers, I'd probably give GCC a VERY slight edge over CAC. GCC is definitely closer to Lego look & feel but the fact that everything's always out of stock is rather annoying. I get it, they're currently a small operation but still frustrating missing a drop by literal seconds. CAC is still a solid 9/10 for me though.

The quality isn't even close really. The idea of clones standing out too much because they're too detailed is also wild to me. I might understand if you have only 2020 style clones in your army, but like if you've been collecting for a while, you already have 7 different clone styles, it really doesn't matter that you add number 8. CAC are better quality, much broader range of options and most of the stuff is in stock, significantly cheaper when on sale and much more detailed. I don't see how I'd possibly buy a GCC fig over CAC
