"They provided Trammell with appropriate care." They put him on suicide watch and didn't even give him all the items he was owed, those being a gown, blanket and mattress. Multiple times they have violated protocol to punish him over being scared of what they have done to him. They locked him there for 10 hours and treated him like trash all the way through. These officers and this jail have failed this wonderful and kindhearted young man, and his sweet family, utterly. The staff that have bullied him deserve to be charged with his death, not giving him the care he needed, and refusing to let him contact any of his family, and doubly refusing to contact them themselves until it was too late. He wanted to change the world and in a way, he has - he has left an impact on everyone he loved that will never be diminished or forgotten, and hopefully the memory of him will one day bring justice to this case. May Isaiah rest well with his dog Bruce.

I also want you to know that I too am on the autism spectrum, I understand the trauma a lot of autistic people have gone through. I understand my own interactions with City police county sheriff and State Troopers. This is not the appropriate response for law enforcement and Correctional officers when dealing with people on the ASD and any other mental disabilities. 40 years ago people like him would be in a state hospital instead of a county jail. I myself on the spectrum knows what it’s like to have outbursts.

Why did they let a person like him live alone? It is obvious that he cant live alone and would get into trouble as he is not socially adjusted. Did the mother never think about that? I have never seen people living alone with tourette syndrome. Its just a recipe for disaster. Whose bright idea was to just let him live by himself? And where was his mother when they put him in jail? Didnt they contact her?

My older brother has autism. When we were young he tried to drown me. Then my Mum forced us to do 9 years of swimming lessons. He's received basically lifelong counselling and is actually working a well paying job now but I always worry that something in him will just interpret something wrong and snap.

It's the cruelty for me 😢 Where's the humanity in his treatment? Why wouldnt they have called someone to support him?

This is so damn sad!!! 😢😢😢 and so unfair 😡 I would literally have send all of those officers to jail!!!! I ended in a mental hospital where they treated me horribly, mom did not know and I thought I was going to die too. It is very very sad.

I feel sick. These officers tortured this poor boy. He was completely coherent and begging for help or some sort of humanity. Wish they would have been at least fired for they’re ignorance and neglect.
