Question, when selecting "When a HTTP request is received" when building the first flow, when entering the relative path /(guid)/{OrderChoice}, and creating the compose step, the dynamic content does not display "guid", but it displays the other dynamic content options including the Order Choice option that I entered. Am I doing anything wrong? Or is it likely because I don't have access to the premium feature?

I have used your batch delete and it works perfectly! I have a flow that executes the batch delete, then moves on to the batch upload as described in your video and blog. It fails at the GenerateSPData, with the Error Details: "The action 'GenerateSPData' was executed for '1665' iterations resulting in an aggregated result size that exceeded the maximum value '209715200' bytes allowed. Please reduce the number of iterations to ensure that the aggregated results size is less than '209715200' bytes." I have 1,600 records in my Excel file that I am uploading. Where do I adjust this?

Hi Paul. Great video, which have helped me a lot! I have a further question, if you can help? I am taking csv data from an incoming email and using it to add a row to a Dataverse Table. How do I setup the start of the flow? I tried to create a Flow using trigger = "When a new email arrives (v3)" and added the Step "Get email attachment (v2)", but the data does not seem to parse correctly to handle using your method for the rest of the downstream data handling from "newLine" onwards? Am I missing a step? Thanks.

hey Paul, what if you have a table that has questions in column A and the answers in column B ? how would you make the JSON then if you are not using the column headers for the output?

This is all great but it would help a lot if you'd expand the "get item" card, I understand that this is obvious for experienced flow builders but without this for newbie the rest of the flow is useless.

Legend! I'm trying to build a "login" solution for this same method - for external people to access. I have 3 flows at the moment: 1 - Login (responds with a simple login page, user/pass/submit) 2 - LoginValidate (post action from (1) takes user/pass and looks up against a SharePoint list of users/passwords and if valid responds status 200, otherwise status 401) 3 - Main page (responds with main page) If LoginValidate responds with status 200 to the (1) Login page, then (1) redirects to (3). That all works fine, but as you'll realise the person is now at the (3) Main page and can see the URL for this page. So if they wanted to share/save this URL they can then get to the main page directly without going through the (1) Login page. Does anyone have any ideas of achieving this? Just a bit of a proof of concept / fun idea to see if it's possible to do only using Power Automate / Power Platform. Cheers! Steve

I have modified the flow a little as we required it. e.g loop through all documents in a library and change the company name within the document. One thing I haven't been able to work out is URLs. I can change the URL front face but not the URL back in the xml.res file. Would love to know if you have done this.

I completed all the steps of the video but i am not sure how to get the individual data points from the select step into Sharepoint items. I add the "create list item" and put the select item output in each of the columns. but it doesnt work. wouldn't i have to tell the flow which select item to put in the sharepoint field? seems odd putting the same thing in each. Your help (more of it, that is) would be so appreciated. AA

Thanks for this guide, it really helped me plow through hundreds of records I needed to consolidate between two SPO lists! Only two hiccups I ran into were handling occasions were: -When the xpath array was empty, all I had to use was ?[0], and it took my far too long to remember how to do that! -Xpather kept throwing me off because "beautifying" my xml code would cause the closing part of my elements to end up on a different line which would make the query expressions fail. Once I realized that, I simply left the xml code as one line and the testing succeeded.

Hey Paul! This video helped me push past a barrier I was having with PowerAutomate for a similar flow case as presented here. I’m having an issue with sending the attachments to a Jira ticket. I’m able to upload the attachments with this (as long as I use a covertBase64toBinary for “content” field), but when I try to open the attachment on Jira it is corrupted. Would you be able to help me with this?

Hi. Thank you very much for this video. Solution was extremely helpful for my project. I was hoping to get some more advice from you on taking it one step further. At the end of your video, you show us how to create a file and add it to a document library and also how to add metadata. In my business case, my flow continues on after this to Create an Item in SharePoint and to Send an Email. I use a Condition/Control in this step because there is a Yes/No question in my Form that drives how the Item is created and what email is sent - one way for Yes responses and another way for No responses. Anyways, I'm getting stuck with the Update File Properties action because I need to add metadata to the file created in the last step of the video, but the metadata needs to come from the Item that is created in the later step. If I try to Update File Properties within the apply to each action, by copying the code from the later Create Item step I obviously get an error because it's trying to pull data from an action that hasn't run yet. However, if I add an action after the Create Item / Send Email steps then I still get an error because it says I cannot update the file outside the apply to each step. Any suggestions?? It has to be doable and adding this step is critical to the overall success of my business case.
