yea even without agro and without jumping my wolf still ended up in the ocean -_- one second we were with the boat the other min poof they 'floated' over the end of the boat and into the ocean O_O did this 2 days ago with my mate , luckely we were allmost at land and they were following me but if it was a boar we losted it for no reason at all ! looked like the game was a bit glitchy idk what happened

Free Friends!! Hahahaha.....This is so true. After hours alone in Valheim, I get excited to see a Greydwarf Brute or Troll. I don't even kill them anymore. And, sometimes I just let a greyling stick around and for the company. It's like the Tibetan stories of the master having a bad tempered tea servant around. Sometimes they jostle your elbow when you are trying to work, but then it's fun to just drop kick them across the field. I like wolves but they are a little clunky in their movements, get stuck in walls, and get in the way a lot of times. It's true that they are great for keeping greydwarfs off your back. My brother said a while back that these wolves would despawn when the sun comes up. Is this not true, or do you have time to tame before the sun rises?

If the wolf eats you that many times, it shouldn't be able to eat any more meat when you tame it.

Forgot the most important part. You can't leave or it will despawn. Or did they patch that?

Been running in a huge mountain biome at night looking for the 2 star, 8 hours of doing this and going back to farming during the day....finally seen one and died instead of getting him to my pit :(

You forgot the part where you get raided by wolves while waiting for them to tame, die and come back 😅

Keep in mind that 2 star wolves are extremely, extremely rare. You might not ever see one and if you do, you get one shot at this.

Make sure to make a jumping platform to hop out the pit with.

I’ve ran the mountains for at least 2-3 hours now and have only came across 1 Star wolves 😢 I’ve only ever seen a 2 star wolf a long time ago. So much pain

I have moved Wolves this way but have yet to try Boar, a thing I found useful for the wolf army move (or even just the 1-2 wolf move) if you have a friend that plays, have the friend in the boat, do the walk the plank method, and have the friend get the wolf to follow as soon as they fall in the boat. that way they stay in the boat with your friend while you push more wolves in / move the boat. still not 100% but is much easier.

My thoughts: 1. Tower Shield - Great for Tanking w/ Friends, Less to no Knockback, Less Stamina and Staggering per block, Best Choice if you wanna level Blocking. Just go to a Burial Chamber, find skeletons and tank till you drop or you can make one. just make a large hole, find some skeleton archers and pull them with a harpoon. build workbenches so that they don't de-spawn and to prevent other enemies from spawning, build a lookout area where they can shoot at you and finally, shoot then duck when your stamina is low. maybe around 20 archer skeletons should be enough. 2. Round Shield - Mainly used for Parrying with extra Thickness from a buckler. Best for beginners who like to try parrying. does 1.5x more damage when successfully parrying an enemy. Best for PVP. 3. Bucker - Mainly used to take advantage of 2.5x parry bonus. If you leveled up your blocking enough, this should be your best choice as parrying can help you 1 shot enemies. Best for DPS and PVE. Note: Boss Enemies are Immune to staggering thus, rolling is much more advised to avoid their attacks solo or use Tower Shields when with Friends. Health Bonus from Food affects your staggering limit which also increases how much attacks you can tank in a short time. Stagger depletes at 20% per second. Parrying secondary attacks(Middle Mouse on PC) during a PVP staggers an enemy player for a few seconds(2-3 Seconds) which makes them vulnerable for a full 2x 3-hit combo or 2x secondary attacks although it is very difficult to parry them without a high Blocking skill. Before you forge your shield be sure to click Style First to select other variations of your shield. Always be on Rested Buff at all times as Stamina and Remaining HP has an effect on whether you can tank a hit regardless of your stagger limit and blocking skill. All weapons and shields have movement de-buff. so it is advised to sheath them when not in combat by pressing R. equipping tools can also do but when in combat, you will need to re-equip your weapon and shield again. thus, slower response which is not recommended.

I like having a portal hub, so i built it right next to the main spawn point. I also placed my cartography table in the portal hub so it can be updated and read easily.

Not nitpicking but... Drop a portal at a new location, jump through to your base and get materials for a New portal. But then... Drop a new portal, and name it for the new location... then destroy your pocket portal to get the materials back. Why not just rename the pocket portal once you get there, and keep the materials you just got from base... as your next one? I know it's only a few seconds, but why add the extra step?

Surprise me with something like beating the game without killing the first 3 bosses in the game.

Sory are better metods to do this without the risk. I caught the first wolf in the game before I got bronze (58 gaming days - first playing in valheim). You have an impressive tower, and what would you do to make it twice as high - without using mods?

Use some food to mowe the boar (put it down and take it away before he eats it). The boar will go after food.

Sounds like having a wolf pet is a lot of headache.

This is the first time taming a Lox. This video gives me hope!

You forgot to tip people in on how to mob-proof your away portals. Like placing them on a platform or in a covered building (like some like). I haven't seen it but apparently if you just drop a portal ib grass and nothing else, there is a chance a straggler mob may just walk by and attack/destroy it. Ruining your day.
