There's a book called The uncharted path that you can find on borlest, and it talks about how using some secret tehniques you can attract a lot of money, it's not some bullshit law of attraction, it's the real deal

I lost over $75k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Patricia Annie Brooks

Eliminating bad habits is key for unlocking inner greatness - Addition through subtraction - removing what's holding us back is crucial - Scarcity mindset is a key bad habit to eliminate for achieving greatness Scarcity mindset leads to missed opportunities - Scarcity mindset creates fear and hinders investment in potential opportunities - Beliefs drive thoughts, actions, and ultimately results, shaping the reality we experience Prioritizing urgency over impact is a bad habit. - Gratitude can help counter the fear voice in our heads and lead to a life of abundance. - Avoid getting swallowed by urgent tasks and prioritize important long-term goals for fulfillment. Prioritizing urgency over impact leads to stress and lack of progress - Lisa prioritizes urgency, feeling productive by multitasking and responding to urgent tasks, but ends up perpetually stressed and lacking career progress. - Emma, on the other hand, strategically focuses on important projects, leading to professional and personal growth with less stress. Collecting knowledge without application is a bad habit - Avoid just acquiring information without applying it in real life - Balance learning and doing like successful individuals to create impact Multitasking dilutes focus and results - The myth of multitasking leads to poorer results and more errors - Quality of results is directly linked to the quality of focus on one task at a time Abusing Parkinson's law can hinder productivity. - Parkinson's law states that work expands to fill the time allotted. - Shorten deadlines to increase productivity and output. Shorter deadlines lead to faster progress and iteration. - The fear of failure is a reason for setting long deadlines. - Success and failure are two sides of the same coin with odds shifting towards success over time.

After reading “Who moved my cheese” I wanted to punch myself in the face. But then I remembered how good looking I am so I took a long walk instead and figured out most of the pop culture biz books are rubbish. Makes sense to reread the top classics. Couple short fiction books worth regular rereads for me at least - Old man and the sea and Animal Farm.

This is nuts. 13 minutes in you start talking software. Here I am thinking of starting my own window washing business because the complexity and competition in SaaS B2B and c2b apps/plugins are driving me crazy. Plus I already manage devs at 50h/week and I’m sick of the software industry. I would rather start a middle of the road service company.
@AnthonyVicino
@AnthonyVicino Күн бұрын
In my opinion, software is MUCH easier once you've made a bit of money elsewhere. (Starting with a service based business is a great way to make some meaningful income that you can then leverage later in softdev).

I dropped out of high school after failing the 11th grade, got my GED, went into the military at the lowest rank you could possibly be, and then eventually served my time and got out. I started a small business with a $300 loan from my mother, which I had to pay back. I turned that into millions of dollars over the span of 25 years. I've never read a single book from start to finish. I hate reading. I'm the #1 business in my industry. There are a lot of very book smart people that have zero business skill. It's not all in books...trust me. I'm living proof. The learning is in the doing....not the reading about someone else doing. When I was 25, and still in the military, I realized one important concept that changed my entire life and here it is....if you get this...and apply it...your life will change today. "This is a game of effort." Not brains, not rich parents, not luck, not even skill. It is out efforting everyone around you. You never see the hardest worker being laid off. You never see the hardest worker homeless. Wake up tomorrow and start out efforting everyone in your field. I work 7 days a week. I have taken one day off in the last 19 months. It's not for everyone...but I will retire this year at 52 with house paid off on the water, boat paid off, truck paid off, plenty of money in the stock market. I was not born with the gift of brains. I was not born with the gift of rich parents (my mother had a 7th grade education). Sorry, but you do not need to read 613 books or 10 books. You need to get out of the chair and start out efforting EVERYONE. Life will change immediately. Good luck!

The quality of your like is directly correlated to the quality of the questions you ask yourself. 1. Where is the center of the board? 2. What do I need to do to get pieces there so that they have maximum influence? 3. Who do I know that could help me solve this? 4. What’s it mean to control the position here? 5. Which player is acting and which player is reacting? (He didn’t have a question for initiative) 6. What is the move that I’m not even considering right now?

Depends on the corporation and the boss you have. If you have a controll freak thats obssesed with urgency you dont get to time prioritize. It realy depends on the work place and The company culture. So both of you are right, depending on the work place😊 Agree to agree/disagree Ty for video
