Hey! I had a question regarding Terms of Service policies and some posts I see my family make a lot. TL;DR some of the people in my life with a poor understanding of Terms of Service policies will occasionally make copy and paste posts on social media that say something along the lines of "I HEREBY STATE THAT I DO NOT GIVE MY PERMISSION TO USE ANY OF MY PERSONAL DATA OR PHOTOS." This doesn't really do anything, right? Like, would it even be something you could point to in a court of law if you'd already agreed to the Terms of Service that likely say you agree they can? He crossed the police tape and deliberately provoked police officers and got himself arrested for that too. Trial date TBD later this year or early next year. Other notorious frauditors facing legal problems are DMA, convicted of Federal crime in "United States vs (Christopher) Cordova" (Colorado) for him breaching a Social Security Administration office. I was surprised by the jaywalking, as a Norwegian, I can say that if you drive a car and hit a pedestrian, the driver is always at fault as the pedestrians always have the right of way regardless, and there are very few exceptions made, funnily enough, this also applies to bicycles, as bicycles are considered a vehicle by Norwegian law and therefore riding a bicycle means that every traffic law applies to you, and as a bicyclist, you are expected to even follow the road signs and regulations about yielding and upholding the right of way.

Hi Mr. Legal eagle, I've got a question: In a trial, when the defendant posts bail, what exactly does that mean? I ask because I'm watching a law and order episode right now where the defendant got his passport taken away and an ankle monitor attached and got bail denied. I always thought that bail was exclusively meant for when the defendant was in jail and pays to leave. Does bail also apply to when the defendant is placed on house arrest? If so, can you explain what exactly bail is? If I'm right and bail is exclusively for when they're in jail, then I guess that part was redundant to add in the episode.
