@@sleepervq605 both are going to be fun! It just depends on if you want a more linear powerband (supercharger) or a more aggressive one (turbocharger)

I've looked at Soho's and Admin's side. I'm around 80% sure it's turbo manifold/kit design's fault. I ran the numbers for my turbo kit and I'll definitely have too high exhause manifold pressure at 800whp. Is someone running these engines on a rearmount turbo setup? People say not to run mickey thompson drag radials on manual transmission, thoughts?

Radials on a manual transmission is always a bad recipe for broken parts but that only happens on digs, if you dont slip the clutch properly youll break axles, diffs, input shafts, driveshafts. Bias ply slicks would be your best friend for dig racing a manual trans, it doesnt react as fast as a radial but its way more forgiving and larger room for error. Now if your a person that 60 to 130s and roll racing is your life then you can run a radial and be fine simce the car is already moving

Wait did you just install Pure Stage 2’s to make those power figures? Definitely not comprehending that dyno unless it was at 5000 DA on a 110* day lol. I’m FBO/stock turbos and my car made 448/531. I see you have a BOV setup. I have everything else done including fuel so I was considering getting my tune updated and adding some to give the system some better pressure relief but the Pure turbos are the next step for me so I figured I’d do it when/if I ever upgrade to those. I haven’t allowed myself to pull the trigger yet though.

Should be T51R, and it is a machining process to increase the volume of the turbo spool. Effectively makes the turbo louder than it would be with the standard anti-surge housing

Thanks for the video team. I'm going boosted in about a month or so, and im from New Zealand. Running basically exactly whats here besides E85 ( running 98 Octane instead ) What's the max PSI VHR can handle on stock internals? I have a friend who is boosted and they are pulling 18psi on their kill map. but the numbers is about 550WHP, is that a worry?

I think he just means with the VHR platform. I’ve personally experienced fuel starvation below half a tank on my way to the gas station. Did a pull, cranked a hard right into the lot and the car completely died on me. Most likely it was the pump issue he’s talking about but could’ve easily been something else coincidentally
