What a wonderful interview 🤩 the very 1st crack I saw in the org was Ephesians 5:21 be in subjection to one another now how would things be different if they cherry picked that one which is the beginning of the paragraph instead of 22 but they never not once included that part of the scripture. So I started asking around about that and needless to say I was the single sister of four kids that didn’t like the headship arrangement. Some of the sisters I showed were just jaw dropped. I used to be a JW, sinse 1970 ... been out 7 yrs now and what a relief to have a glorious life back !!! JW's are the most controlling and enslaved religion using man made rules and not biblical sourced ... The leaders of the JW's mind control their followers to their advantage ... I don't mind being an apostate to their religion or even disassociated with ... Such a relief to no longer be a slave to such nonsense with much scare tactics and fear mongering !!! 💖

To answer the question posed in the title, no. Maybe it's contributing to more drinking, but not causing it. The JW drinking culture has been around for decades because of how fucking miserable life is being a Witness. On another note, I hear ya about being an alcoholic, that's two of us. Some of us were just born with no off switch when it comes to drinking. Great video! Keep 'em coming!

I’m 70 now and ‘awake’ but have almost spent my whole life in and out of this cult. I have a very long story to tell. What put me off most of all were their misinformed doctrines such as the 607 and the overlapping, their once supporting the United Nations and of course the shunning. My eldest son and family are JW’s and they’re very involved but they refuse to let me see their two teenage children. They’re so cruel but I know they see me as a hater of Jehovah. Their ‘new light’ is rediculous but is a big wake up call! I live in the UK and would be happy to talk to you.

I like the J dubs. They don’t water down the Bible to keep people coming so they can get more money. People say their leaders governing body has control… they have no control we all have free will. Sadly I find a common theme on these videos. They are from people who don’t want to live a certain lifestyle. I get it living by Bible principals can be difficult so it’s not for everyone. I am just amazed why people think they need to post a video explaining why the left. Do those same people post about how they don’t get picked in a pick up game or maybe they got fired from work and complain about that. It’s pretty easy if you are not happy just take your ball and go home. No need to spread hate, oh Maybe that’s why those people left.

I had tried to go back one time but so lonely and marked I cried in KH bathrooms. I have been out over 30 years and NOT returning. You mention the CSA coverage up. So sad this has happened But I was watching a KZfaq from 60 minutes on SEX OFFENDERs....they have hard time finding homes. Many live in woods in state of FL. But they need homes/or apartments badly....I wonder if a organization we know is building these apartment to house them. Plus sex offenders must be known on a list to protect society s children..JW kept this covered up. Not good at all. am surprised JW allowed to go door to door still. Fortunatly an elder who works like a dog for the Witchtower Babel and Crap Society, tried to help me by putting me in the Pioneer program! He meant well, but he, like many of the cult mnembers, are not aware of what was causing me to drink! I didn't know at the time what it was either!
