Pretty cool! I have recorded a piano version of this song. Would you like to record the voice on it?

The bridge it's the only part that I didn't like much, it's the FF's style but because it's mostly a copy of Best of You. The rest of the song it's AMAZING.

4 examples and zero 80's music where it got really popular to take it to it's limits. For example The Cure or Siouxsie and The Banshees should've been there.

Bro having an example that YOU did is fucking awesome man don't apologize lol it means you walk the walk and we're getting real information. You going off on a tangent about the history of double tracking was entertaining to listen to. Thank you!!!

I'm trying to do use busses to double track guitars for a rock song but as soon as I put my amp sim or any other effects into the bus all the tracks are panned to the center. If I don't put any effects the panning works just fine. Any tipps? Edit: I'm using cakewalk

Is there not a 3rd vocal under the Kurt Cobain and Dave Grohl lead examples, singing an octave down also? I’ve thought about doing that but am a woman with a. High voice 😂 Anyway this vid was super helpful, thank you. I’ve been unsure whether to double my lead all the way through or just choruses/big parts and now I know it’s whatever I want to do😝 Helpful to have it broken down though

I’ve had songs stuck in my head for like 10+ years lol. Do you not have songs stuck like deep in your brain forever? Like Rick Astleys “never gonna give you up”? That song will forever be in my mind. “Just the two of us” not saying it’s on repeat every second in my mind, but I 100% hear popular musical tones in the back of my mind always and I’m sureeee you do too

This is insanely hard to catch and I am wildly impressed. I watched this video, listened to the song like four times at those lyrics, and STILL did not have the ear for it. Looks like I have a new goal for hearing harmonies.

it’s suuuuper quick since it’s only one single syllable! keep listening for it and then try singing the notes along with it to have it click.
