That was an excellent build! The camo pattern was really challenging but you've nailed it together with the chipping efects (well worn, but not a derelict)! Thanks for sharing Floki, take care and keep up the good work my friend!

Nice work! The O-1 Bird Dog is like the little brother to the Cessna 180, I have that old Monogram kit with pontoons and thought it'd be neat to paint it up as a US navy bird but what would the navy need with a 180 Skywagon? Observation? Liasson transport? Quick delivery of certain small items needed at critical areas? All those things. Happy modeling.

Great video. Just use soapy water or a little bit of dish washing liquid mixed with water and spray it on the model first, then put the vinyl mask down. It should be much easier to place and slide around to where you want. It also makes it easier to remove any bubbles too (of course spray a protective coat on your model first).

I'll give that a try. Thank you!

I often wonder on some modelers builds on putty welds whether they take them out of scale of the model comes with the weld texture molded in? This is a question not a comment. I saw one modeler simply use a brush to put silver weathered marks on the welds which looked great. Idk.
@FlokisModels4 ай бұрын
Lot of times I will just leave the kit welds in place and just add my own to where the kit didn't have them trying to keep them consistent with the kit welds. Of course if I absolutely obligate the kit welds while sanding and filling I will add my own

Oh man I would really like to see. I'd like to modify mine to ride a human, and I'd like to modify the base and controller, but - it's really hard to find any significant finished images or videos of those parts to see what is intended. There seems to be a ton of empty space in the base, but the instructions are not totally clear. This is a great video and I do hope to see the rest of your build. Thank you for sharing.@@FlokisModels

Awesome work man! 2 questions, do you think tracks like these would be "workable" and strong enough for a 1/35 scale RC tank? and do you think this would at all be possible with a .2mm nozzle on an FDM?
@FlokisModels9 ай бұрын
Thank you so much! They would not be strong enough for a RC tank printed in resin, if you could print them on a FDM in PETG or ABS then they would probably work but I have not tried that.

@@FlokisModels oh okay, good to know thanks for the info! do you think that the tolerances would be okay for FDM for 1/35 scale tracks?
