Yes its a gorgeous infinity pool and jacuzzi, it gets really packed at sunset, but its nice if you go early because not as many people go in early mornings. It probably depends on the room you get, we were happy with the room we got because it was 1 of the newer ones, i did put our exact room video we took in this video too to help so you can get a good look and this was from when we went january 2024. After I posted I went here, found out a lot of my other friends stayed her and also loved it and the location was perfect walking distance to everything in waikiki. Oh we didnt think it was that bad but i stayed at the sheraton and to me those rooms felt way older then this resort. So maybe those people didnt have as good of rooms, we didnt have any issues with the sheets or feeling like we were in an inn, or that musty feeling we had a great experience . so youre right probably depends where you stayed. I mean ive stayed at Aulani which is even more expensive then this hotel and i thought the rooms here were nicer then the room i had at Aulani and Aulani starts at 650 a night, but thats my opinion.

Thanks for the reply. I was going to book king partial view but changed to king ocean view. I know it’s still side view but I did this as I believe it may open me up to being allocated a room in the front building. I believe there is two buildings but have no idea which rooms may be the better renovated rooms as aesthetically they look the same. I’m coming from Australia which is a big trip and will be my first time in Hawaii and will be utterly gutted if my rooms smells musty and damp. I know what this smells and feels like visiting Bali on a regular basis.

@@galopoulo75 You're welcome. Thats a great idea, it is tough when you are traveling so far and you want to make sure you book the right room. Yes there are 2 different buildings where the rooms are, so we never got to see what the rooms were like in the building near the front desk only the rooms where our room was which was closer to the aquarium and gym if that helps and they were nicer hallways and remodeled in the rooms. Since you are choosing a more expensive room like the ocean view room i feel you will be in a better room too. I'm excited to hear what you think this being your first hawaii trip, you will have an amazing time! Omg I love Bali, but that makes sense some hotel rooms have that cheaper feeling. I mean it has happened to us, we stayed at a hotel in mykonos and the pictures looked nothing like what it was in person and we traveled almost 25 hours in total to get there, and it was so bad we could only stay 1 night so my husband got us a nicer hotel to stay the rest of the trip so I understand how terrible it is to have to do that traveling far its the last thing you want to do after a long trip is to realize the hotel is terrible and have to. leave to a differnt hotel and lose money twice like us.

Thanks for the update. With Bali it’s not the cheaper feeling room as they have beautiful new hotels with beautiful rooms but even in the newer hotels, I’ve come across the wet musty smell. Being tropical it rains during wet season so perhaps if that side of the building doesn’t get enough sun to dry out maybe that’s what is creating the issue. I’ve stayed in a hotel with other family members where my room stank but theirs didn’t but they were over the other side of the building. Or perhaps it’s AC. I can’t put my finger on what causes the issue. I hope I’ve chosen the right room in hawaii. Love Mykonos! Been many times. In fact I have a photo of Mykonos on my work office door 😂😂😂😂 one can dream while at work

@@galopoulo75that’s completely understandable because it’s hard to know when hotels don’t renovate all their buildings. And wanting to make sure you are in the renovated side maybe emailing and calling them too can help to make sure you get to be on the new side will help too so you can avoid any musty smells if it’s on old side thing. I know you will have a great trip and the hotel service was great so they will help you make sure you have a great trip! Yes Mykonos is amazing we got lucky my husband found us a way better brand new hotel to make our experience better so only had to be in the misleading one for 1 night and then our trip was better in the brand new hotel. But you’ll have a great experience at alohilani !

@@marileetravels Its not about my experience its about facts of the Hotel.i watched your video before i booked and i liked it (part of why i booked), its not my experience that the rooms(90%) are old and smelly its a fact, what you showed in your videos the suites which is not available and only few. you never mentioned that 75% of the pool chairs are already reserved for private members (facts),despite how small the gym is 4 machines are defected(facts).table pool closes at 10 pm (facts). Stingrays and jellyfish (facts)they even have signs in the entrence between the pool and the beach.all what iam saying people need to know all the facts in your videos which are our references to help us choose the right place for us.By the way they have an amazing staff that in my opinion should be working in another 5 stars Hotel. this one i give it three stars.

The travel club is called Club Seacret it’s an MLM they sell a lot of products from the Dead Sea and since we were part of their travel club as members that’s how we got a good deal on this trip. And yes anyone can join as long as you don’t mind being in MLM

im sorry you didnt have the best experience, here everyone is entitled to their opinion, but we really loved it, the views and location made it worth it to experience. We were so happy we thankful to experience it compared to all other paris balcony hotels which are 2 to 3 times the price. We actually loved the beds, the room service, the customer service, the location, and the experience. But for people that want a more affordable stay i put that hotel in my longer paris youtube video.

I would actually recommend either the planet Hollywood Cancun yes the one you watched or the hard rock Los Cabos because that one has a lot of different pools, nice beach to layout, and a lot of things to do on property for family with those kids age range they have free entertainment shows too, and an escape room which is fun for the whole family! Or the moon palace in Cancun is really big too! But to help you narrow it down I would say start with those 2 since they both have a lot to do on property if you didn’t leave.
