I think all of the above .... but the laughing in this is not good either . there is nothing funny about any of this...

I have a Covid puppy and an older dog. The Covid puppy relies on his older pack mate for far too much. It results in being fear aggressive quite often. I’m trying to work through it, but it’s not easy. I’m doing as much as I can to improve young pups confidence so he doesn’t feel the need to lash out, but I’m fighting an uphill battle :(

This series has been brilliant and so informative, thankyou! When will episode 8 be out?

I crate trained my Cavapoo. I used it until he learned how to behave in the house. Now his favourite place in the living room is underneath my recliner feet rest. I believe it's because it reminds him of the safety of his early days in the crate. Having said that he enjoys laying on the couch too like most dogs.

Personally dogs need to be crate trained for safety. Like they don't have to live in it but like atleast make sure they can stand it. Same with muzzles just need to be conditioned to them

Why did they let an elderly woman break up a dog fight?!
@kathiemcadams31772 ай бұрын
You don't talk about when both dogs are fighting they're in the air on their back legs and they're both grabbing throats and you're not talking about the other dog redirecting once that a big dog stops
@ProDogTraining2 ай бұрын
There's about 20 scenarios in a dog fight, I've addressed 1. So yes the 19 others are not addressed. I do discuss redirecting. Please watch the video again.

Amazing stuff, many dog owners don't know it and if your dog jumps on their dog, the owner would attack the other owner because of the action of dog 😂 Thanks for amazing video and all the value you put out there

Dunny budgie 16:53. Thanks for these informative videos, have started with my boy. Question: my backyard is on a corner block so basically the front yard and dogs and people always walk past which triggers him. Should I only allow him putting lead? We have a high wall and have blocked his sight as much as possible. Any ideas would be appreciated.

When the handler marks, there should be no physical movement. The physical always overrides the verbal. If you reach for the food every time you mark, the reach becomes the marker.
@kerzy2687 Жыл бұрын
@@ProDogTraining So recommendable to do intermittent rewarding or intermittent positive reinforcement is to fade away the reward? I find both the (shouldn't do) (Should do) scenarios kind of confusing since they are both using movements to reach for reward just from different hand resting positions
@ProDogTraining Жыл бұрын
@@kerzy2687 this is simply in reference to the sequence between marking behaviour and rewarding. Mark - pause - feed. You need to separate the marker from reaching for food. Don't pair them. Otherwise you risk losing value in your marker.
