Hi, thank you for this. Is it just me or do the Roman Szmal colors stick unusealy to the brush? I really have to be very careful cleaning between colors. More than I am used to.

@@hannemarielorenzen3428 yes, they’re very rich and stay moist longer than other brands, because as far as I know they contain honey. This is a positive thing but the downside is that they are fiendishly sticky!

I love it even more after seeing it in person and in action. I was so impressed with how you could let it hang open and everything was nice and secure and you didn't have to go digging around to find things. I can't wait to get mine!

Another very informative video. I’ve just received (today), two Rosemary & Co brushes. An R13 (as recommended by your good self), and an R12 dagger brush (as recommended by Taria of pretty sketchy TV). Looking forward to trying them out over the next few days.

Thanks for your fabulous and instructive video. I’m yet to try a Fude pen as I’m left handed. Does anyone know if it will work for me, please? I did order one from China, a while ago, paid but didn’t receive, so was put off trying again! I’m in Australia.

@@vickityrrell9252 that’s very annoying. That’s never happened to me and I live in Ireland so you’ll probably be safe enough. Lots of my students are left-handed and use fude pens. I think it’s as easy or as tricky as a leftie using any fountain pen.

I was out painting mountains today and the sky was beautiful. I did basically what you did except I turned my whole board upside down to do the sky. I'll share it when I get done. One thing I want to experiment with is trying to express the way some of the clouds started coming down onto the mountains. So I think I'll dry barely blotting a sponge in white/gray gauche over the mountains.

Got Frieda a few others based on your recommendation and I LOVE her so much! I’ve made more sketches with her and the sailor fude, in the past couple of weeks than I have with all the other colors and pens combined! I don’t know why, but that color is so soft on the paper. It puts me in such a peaceful place to draw!🙏🏽😂 TY Roisin! So grateful I found you Both!

Where in Europe is this place? I am from Sydney Australia, so I’ve never heard of this place. My family is from Sicily and we do have a lot of prickly Pear plants there and looks very similar to Sicily. Let me know because I’d love to go there one day. Also my problem is when I sit down to sketch, and I look at something, I find it hard to fit it in my sketchbook or paper, I have trouble with trying to fit it all in and things get either squashed…or not in perspective, any tips?🙏💕

@@towardsthelight4919 the answer to the first is easy, like I said in the video it’s Gozo in Malta (I did mention it a few times I think and it’s also in the description). The answer to the second isn’t so easy, it’s a long question with a long answer! Here’s a tip though: I find if I make a shape with very dilute paint first, I’ll know if the scale is correct. If not you can wash it away (before it dries) and start again. Sometimes I try three times, it can be very frustrating!
