Thankful that I grew up listening to my Dad blasting the Excitable Boy album on vinyl. ❤

I've been considering taking "Waren Zevon" off my dating profile. Then they kicked into Cadilac Ranch and I forgot about it.

Our 4 1/2 month Rottweiler is named Zevon after Warren. He was pouting bif time, so I pulled this up. 😊 We are working on getting him to howl on cue to Warewolves of London. So far, he thinks we are nuts. 😂

Would have enjoyed being at this concert. However, I was over a thousand miles away, and was getting married the next day. Still going strong with my bride of over 41 years. Wish we still had Warren.

That must have been one helluva concert to see live. I only saw him once live at party on the plaza in Houston after a few years living in Texas. After the concert I asked if I could get a piece of the radio station khol banner along the stage and they were like yes. I brought that banner with me through out the night to local bars. Everyone that I meet I had them sign it. Everyone in Texas has been so great. I made friends even though I am a Red Soxz fan, yet go Astros. Me and my friend opened our first automotive shop and I put up that banner proudly and often would read the comments and remember those faces of great people. Before Warren left the stage he said "My rides here" as he was speaking literally. Hej speaks of his dealing with death on a David Letterman and how a dentist actually told him to see a doctor. His second to last album was called Life will kill you. RIP Warren 👍💜

So I guess he went from performing his original third verse, to performing no third verse, to performing the third verse Linda Ronstadt used (Who wrote it for her? If not Warren, whoever it is should have received co-writing credit on Warren's two live albums, on whicch he sings it).

Damn! That's what I needed. This was one of my fave songs back in the day (along with others from same album). WZ and the band killed it. Sounds like the original, but with that fire of a live show. Love it. Thanks for sharing!
