I’m not gonna lie, I don’t play Tetris that often. Not at all actually, because I never knew where to start. I just watched a few videos because my friend said he would totally beat my ass in Tetris and for a while I was motivated to prove him wrong (unsuccessfully). I’m just here to say that your voice is very pleasant to listen to

the good thing about tetrio is that theres no other good option than tetra league imo.dont wanna get stomped in quikplay and random lobbys are meh so theres no other option than facing players with the same skill level lol. you gonna reach the rank you peaked again so dont care actually.

Another thing people should notice is that you cannot improve the game without being frustrated. Being a champion is someone who is striving to be the best and in order to become the best is to work on your weakest aspects in your gameplay. Starting to improve that set aspect would go poorly in the beginning since you're learning instead of winning. It only gets better depending on your mindset and how much effort you're willing to take. Overall, this video is a 10/10 and highly recommend to anyone who has an improving mindset.

You a one of the better KZfaqrs making these videos. I have been struggling with L, S, T stacking. Do you have a guide on it? If not would you be willing to make one? I've seen two and neither are that great.

I like how a lot of these tips are not just applicable to ranked Tetris but also ranked systems in other games, or maybe even competition in general. Really helps put into perspective why I would play TL or any other ranked game for that matter. (Also I stared at blockfish the entire time 10/10)

it's hard to find a tetris creator that speaks loud enough or knows how to edit video. Dude have two mics on frame and you can't hear shit.

I also suggest when playing TL is to have a good mindset. Stop queuing when you feel tired (physically and mentally) or when tilted and don't forgot to not stress yourself. Don't forgot to have fun and don't judge but instead help others. And TL is not everything, Tetris is more than TL and find what you want to do in tetris and in other things. Do what you will and just make sure not to harm others personally.

Wow if this video came out earlier, I found that a huge problem was stigma against openers, infinite downstacking, whatever. People would literally tear you apart for it. Luckily I broke the cycle of queueing once I was 1 game off X, was up 6-1, disconnected and lost 200 tr, never played ranked again LOLLL

Not sure how meaningful this is, coming from someone only just learning the game, but I think your guides are the highest quality ones out there. You fully analyze a concept, taking time to break it down into general theory while giving examples, but don’t drag on such that you overstay your welcome. I really admire your teaching style. On an unrelated note, does anyone know where I can find a learning-focused Tetris community? I’ve joined a couple of Discord servers but the ones I’ve found seem kind of dead. Was there some sort of decline in the popularity of modern Tetris over the past year or two? Anyhow, I don’t care what sort of format it is - Discord, forum page, whatever - so long as there are people I can learn from.
@orztetris3 ай бұрын
thank you! I think you’d be hard pressed to find a completely learning-focused community, but I’d maybe recommend MMC (modern mino community), which i linked in the description under shoutouts. They do events + are a pretty normal tetris discord server, but generally have the highest concentration of high level players who are usually willing to discuss concepts or review gameplay, if you post in the right places with a thoughtful message. The server owner bennxt also does coaching streams occasionally.
