2021 the year everyone was hoarding plants and spending a lot of money on variegated leaves. 2024 the year when everyone is purging plants.

What do you mean eBay doesn’t take any cuts from your profits? If I sell something it takes about 13%-15% from the total amount of the sale, plus tax and shipping charges, which makes it close to 20%, depending on how much you charge for shipping. Is it different in Germany? How would eBay make a profit if they don’t take a cut?

I was given one from someone who was moving and did not have the ability to bring with them. It was dry when I got it, and the change of environment made it even worse. There was no saving it. All the leaves turned brown, dried to a crisp, and fell off. I was left with nothing but the root ball. So I said forget it, and as a last-ditch effort, I watched this video and began cutting. I cut into 5 different pieces, put into a mix of peat moss, pearlite, and orchid bark, and covered with a plastic bag to create humidity. Today, I have 3 leaves that grew from 3 different cuttings, one beginning to sprout from the 4th and nothing yet from the 5th, but I changed the soil and am seeing where it goes. It's so exciting. I have no experience with these plants, but I am hoping to start anew and give them the best environment I can ❤

Hey, i wonder, how do you ship the big and small plants? Like do you use a box that protects them during the transit or how... how, thank you!!!

I'm utterly fascinated by the beauty of these rare plants! I've got 3 Thai Constellations that I grew from tissue culture - what a journey! As an artist on a budget, I can't always afford the real thing, so I've started creating realistic versions of any rare or expensive plant I like, without breaking the bank. haha

This video inspired me to rescue my neighbour’s monstera as a fun experiment. It had dropped all its leaves due to neglect and wasn’t in the best state. I brought it home, cut up the stems for wet stick props and repotted the remaining bare stem in a smaller pot. Thank you so much for such a fun and amazing video!! Wish me luck with my rescue🧿🪴

Great job on the win Kristina! But I really want to know, what happened when the monstera outgrew the wood? Did you cut it back? I also just want to know in case I try doing something like this. But once again, great job and plant!
@LeafyLuster19 күн бұрын
Thank you Jake, I didn't have to cut it back yet, but it has reached the top by now. I will 100% make a video about cutting it back. I'm a little scared about the roots that have attached themselves to the bark 😅

I just took a 2m PVC pipe for my last one, wrapped it in burlap and called it a day. I don't water it or anything, and my Golden Pothos takes it quite well. It's almost reached the top and the topmost leaves are about 25ish cm long. Will try 3d printing one now, though. I'm thinking of combining the 3d print with a thinner pvc pipe inside, mainly for stability, because I want it to reach 2m again as well. Not entirely sure what to fill it with yet. Not a fan of sphagnum moss. Maybe something non-organic might work, such as pumice or expanded clay. I want it to be able to hold some moisture but I don't want it to be able to rot, if that makes sense.
