I suggest any foreigner that is solo to hire a PA that can translate, locate, source, etc. Its affordable for a Part-Time PA. $100-200mo depending on English, Time available, and Experience.

Nha Trang and Da Nang are better for expatriates and foreigners. People in central VN are less scammy, more honest, nicer. Costs are cheaper, weather nicer. Except when it floods in Da Nang, best place to be.

Vn will get tougher and tougher for you. It’s cheap for a reason-food safety, pollution, extreme weather conditions, etc…it’s already harder for locals to survive let alone a foreigner. You better learn to make more usds fast. There’s a scammer within 6 feet of you at all times in Saigon.

In vietnam now (nha trang) with my girl from hai phong... she dont play😂. She does all negotiations and we only sign for a place with keys in hand. They tried to say one price, but come contract time it was different. Best believe she was all over that😂. You got to be on A game dealing with renting overseas. Check out nha trang, we have a sea view, less than a block from the beach, with a full mall underneath our place for less than what you paying in saigon. Foreigners, vietnamese and relaxation.

Had to stop watching half way through, so energy draining. You are paying for a service/product…walk away if it doesn’t feel right (especially in Vietnam, because you can get the same thing a few doors down or on the next street), it’s your money. And move on…dwelling on it will just bring you down. I know sometimes is easier said than done. And, move to Da Nang…for your health.
