Awesome setup! Have you had any issues with water getting in from the back where you drilled the two holes for the steering? I want to do the same thing to my PA, but worried about putting holes in the back near the water line.

@@AliensHive2 I honestly haven’t noticed! It’s a pretty tight squeeze to get the tubing through there so there’s very little room for water to consistently get in.

Brandon thank you for sharing your day on the lake what a tournament experience you brought us through that was so enjoyable to watch! Rooting you on to victory I know you didn’t get the outcome you wanted, but you grinded through it made a critical move to a better location. People were catching some biggins out there! That’s what I love about the fishing community you have your competitive side, and yet you still showed respect for one another to interview the angler who took 7th place the event! That’s character and integrity brother a formula I love to see and so much I want to be a part of someday! Tight lines take care and God bless!

Definitely could be a chance but I was also rolling the underpin above the grass that was 6’ tall in 10’ of water. Just an isolated patch that I caught some solid ones in practice. I wasn’t slow rolling it in the bottom.

I saw many hobie pro anglers cracking under the seat. I would use foam to reinforce the seat. I did that at a.c.k for big guys. I was planning on going in oregon and would like to kayak fish with ya. I lived in oregon for 30 years and know some slick areas for smallies . Columbia is good upper Dalles like Rufus and celilo ponds.

You've got all these electronics on the kayak... I went to your channel and couldn't find any videos of you actually using it. Or explaining the uses. Are we just flexing? I have 15+/- kayaks at any given time and you have more accessories on one kayak than all of mine combined

That 7lb-er was a tank! One question for you that I've always wondered ... I'm exclusively a spinning gear guy (though I've tried and can use baitcasters, I just prefer spinning gear) ... when you use a spinning rod, you reel with your left hand, and so you don't switch hands after a cast. But on baitcasters you (and basically every other angler I've seen) cast with your right then switch hands so you reel with your right and carry the rod in your left ... is there a reason for that?
@BrandonHua.Fishing
@BrandonHua.Fishing Ай бұрын
Honestly it’s something I’ve thought about taking the time to change. Whether it’s switching to a left handed reel or making casts with the left hand, but this was the way I was introduced to a baitcaster so it feels natural. It has not had any impacts on my fishing so I haven’t felt the need to switch tactics. Some will say you could miss a bite when switching hands but that is a very slim chance with the minimal amount of time to switch. I think for me, I feel more control casting and managing reel speed with my right hand. Hope that answers your question!
@sungkang8444
@sungkang8444 Ай бұрын
@@BrandonHua.Fishing That makes sense. I think most people do indeed learn that way. Someone waaaaay back must have done it and it just stuck. When I bought my first baitcaster I just bought a left hand reel and didn't switch. Maybe that was my problem, lol! Anyway, great video brother! Keep them coming!

It certainly can with the right color selection but I would highly recommend some actual bass baits! A spinnerbait is a bulkier version of the normal spinners and can be very effective on the columbia!
