Madison is definitely a vocalist. I can say that wholeheartedly. She said herself that she takes inspiration from Ariana but she does have her own voice. I think naturally Madison can go pretty low which is something Ariana has struggled with but she can also go pretty high which is impressive. I love her voice so much ❤ They are both wonderful.

All different reasons and all different opinions. To me, for the best lows it will prob be Mariah because it's that tone and I think she stylistically pushes. For mid belts, I'll say Whitney and for high belts(mixed voice!) I would choose Mariah. Whitney's rich ease sounds so good and natural and beautiful at the same time!! And it's just Mariah's tone and ease up there like she just floats up there!! Although I think Mariah is the weakest belter out of the whole trinity😭. Whitney, to me has the best upper register/head voice it's so developed and the way she uses it will always surprise and stun me! For Mariah it's her whistles, and for Whitney it's her head voice. Like her clarity is unmatched! And that ease??? She had the best hv in pop music! I think Mariah had the best falsetto tho. We all know Mariah has the best agility, literally 90% of her musicality is runs and riffs! You could make a whole vid of just her agility and that would be like an hour or longer!! But Mariah's agility is so magical it's unreal and that innormal speed can't be matched!! Whitney had the biggest voice of the whole trinity so it would def be harder for her than Celine and Mariah, but Whitney was more of a riffer soul singer. So that wasn't like in her music style. But to be honest they are all amazing and untouched. I feel like Mariah is the best studio singer and Whitney the best live singer!

I'd recommend using some visual cues to indicate your opinion about the quality of vocal runs in the agility segment, something similar to what Ain't No Other Fan (YT channel) did in his "Bad vs Good vocal runs" series. That'd be helpful

Lisa is a Mezzo-Soprano based on her tessitura , just because she can hit high notes doesn’t automatically make her a soprano! Most female singers are not sopranos! A true soprano is very rare!

Mariah is my fav. She can use all of what she got (falsetto, airy voice, growls, belts, whistle, etc) at *1 song* without sounding too much. Her musicallity is top tier, arguably unbeatable in pop history. She can make smple song sounds extremly unique and grande (O Holy night) and her melisma is unpredictable but very impactful (Joy to the world) . But this content is about technique. Ofc Miss Whitney take the crown easly. One of the most beautiful voice in music history and one of the best voice in pop history. 😊

At the end of the day these videos are subjective. While fun, there is no real science going on here. You’re deciding what is “resonant” or “supported” based simply off of what you hear, and unless you hold a doctorates in vocal performance, you’re not qualified to make that distinction. Even if you did have such accolades, basing something solely off what you hear is an educated guess at best. You’re not going into the singers throats and seeing the physical anatomy of what is happening so you cannot say “this note has no tension.” Let’s not forget “supported range” is a pseudo science made up by a 19 year old with an associates degree. You need to get off your high horse and stop claiming to be objective when in reality you’re just giving your opinion.

1. Her belt is *good* for modern standart. What makes it good is she is very consistent and she can create extremely clean beautiful belt + vibrato despite her low chest particiation at 5th octave. Her stamina in this area is also very admirable. U cannot do that if your technique is basic. 2. Decent head voice, nothing special. 3. Top tier agillity and transition. Extremely clear riffs and runs no matter how fast it is. The only thing that set her apart/behind someone like Tori or Jojo is her musicality in melisma utilization is not as good as theirs. Ariana without vocal transition is not Ariana. 4. Dynamic, dunno about this. Can someone point it out? A great vocalist for modern standart. A vocalist that will always have longetivity and beauty in her voice no matter the time passed by.

After I watch her performance on Sing, her weakness just become more and more prominent when she sinother singers song. 1. She's sometimes very tensed pass C5 almost on any performance. Strugled to phrasing, riffing, or sustain them. 2. She strugled with intonation and pitch pass 5th octave. 3. She lacks dynamic utilization even though she probably could do it. It makes her singing sounds very robotic, no emotional feeling, and monotone. 4. Lacks of vocal embelishment too hence why she sounds monotone. I dunno why, maybe nervousness too but I am happy that she's trying to outdo herself and take the risks. Faozia should thank God for every single day because of her *majestic tone* . U can train yourself to have great technique and u can mimic other singer up till certain point but tone is a gift. Especially like Faozia has. Evrything that she sings become elegant, shining, and unique thanks to her tone. Samara is near perfect vocalist, the one that u should look up for . That girl is awesome
