Did the codes went away right after you install the part or did you need a scan tool to erase the codes.

Just got a 2014 with 75k miles. Have driven it about 40 miles. Put in reverse and went well, all of a sudden it neutralized, threw it in park amd back to reverse and was fine. Then, took off from a stop and it neutralized for a few seconds then went again no problem. 10 miles later, taking off from another stop, it rolled then neitralized a few seconds. Shifts seems solid, no slipping. Could this bebthe culprit? Amd shere can I get that tool alone without the rest of the kit? Thanks

You got to be careful some of the Amazon ones the arrow points down not up. That was a chance of them getting sued for copying a proprietary tool so you have to look out for that.

Where did you get the decals for the hood?

Not sure if it is mentioned already in the comments but you should clean all the grounds for the transmission and the ground on the shock tower. There is a video on KZfaq how to do this. Very inportant for proper shifting as well.

I don't feel any trans problems but my car does shutter sometimes upon accelerating. I changed a few parts in the suspension and it does it a little less. But once I drive for a while, it starts shuttering. Any ideas?

I just did this today but instead of using a scanner tool or whatever to reset the tcm, I did the reset where you turn the car off & on a few times in N then P. Before I did any of this it was making noise, etc. when taking off in D when the car had warmed up but now, after cleaning it out, R won't engage. Any ideas why? What did I do wrong?

OK, I did in this video seven or eight times and it was like seven or 8000 miles now when I do it, I lose spring tension after about six rotations and it’s hard to turn and it doesn’t get any better. I put a whole can of WD-40 in there now, it’s worked so good before but this time and I do hear it just a tiny bit of clicking in one spot. Does this mean that I need to replace the forks? I wonder if you could remove the starter, spray in compressed air to agitate the dust; and then use a shop vac to remove the airborne dust. Maybe do this every year or every other year.

2012 ford focus -had a car sit for 3 yrs slipping gears, removed A & B actuators and the amount of clutch debris binding the actuators was everywhere. Had to do procedure above and clean the A&B actuators well and unit head... Purchased only the tool 6mm and car runs fine now without TCM scanner relearn. This will happen to all of these DRY clutches as there is no way to stop the clutch dust from exiting trans and adhering to the actuators ( moisture + time = stuck forks and actuators jamming- slipping no gear)...thumbs up to L8R-HP

I got a question i have a 2013 fiesta 1.0 ecoboost with the dps6 transmission and I'm trying to figure out a slight noise problem before having it checked by a professional. When instantly driving i have a scraping sound from something that is rotating and once it fully rotated the sound gets slightly louder and by the sound of it it must be something lager than a baring or gears the sound it produces reminds me of a steam engine and that sound disappears while driving and switching into neutral I'm wondering if it could be the flywheel or clutch doing the sound thank you for any information
