So if I buy as a share is it better than the amount of money I pay 800$ every month?
@M_SC23 сағат бұрын
Small thing but for clarity that you are person not a robot I hope you will say “a hundred and 50 thousand US dollars” not “USD one hundred 50 thousand”.

Question: Unless you're absolutely sure that price right now is overpriced, wouldn't it be better to just deposit L/S on top of your monthly contribution right away as assuming the year will end with 12% returns, it will be 12% on your principal to which, is 4k if you L/S in, or 12% of 800 if you're timing the market. Or are you anticipating a withdrawal in price and finding opportunities to dump on withdrawal? But wouldn't this be considered acting on emotion? New to this, appreciate your guidance, thanks!

For the tiered pricing in the video the country shows UK but I am from Singapore. Thus, I tried selecting Singapore and I realized the tier 1 and fixed pricing is similar. Do i still proceed to choose tiered pricing because fixed pricing doesn't include 3rd party fees?
@DemiZhuang2 күн бұрын
Pricing is dependent on where the fund is listed on. CSPX is on London Stock Exchange hence UK pricing.

What is the different between Fullerton Cash Plus and Liquidity Fund?

Liquidity fund lets you do deposits and withdrawal into the fund SAME DAY if you do it before a certain cut off time. Fullerton Cash Plus is T+1

Can you make VDO on which is Best Policy that Covers critical illnesses for Foreigners working in Singapore?, thanks
@DemiZhuang3 күн бұрын
Everyones definition of best is different and every insurer has policies which slightly differs from one another too. You're allowed to buy the same as what Singaporeans can as well.

Thanks for covering the coupons that Trust offers, something that many vloggers gloss over. Some of the coupons, like the KFC $2 discount with $10 spend is worth forgoing miles for because of its upsized value

Does it make sense to have both whole life and term?
@DemiZhuang5 күн бұрын
Yes if your situation requires it! Whole life as a base and term to top up if your stage of life requires that enhance protection.
@vincentnggh5 күн бұрын
Definitely. Get a basic whole life plan early (limited payment if you can afford it) and stack it with another term policy with critical illness riders. As your wealth increases over time and you can self-cover any major illness expense or no longer have dependents, terminate the term policy.

Hi Demi, can give advice on what the issue is about? I am trying to buy a Fullerton SGD fund but after confirming I got the message: "We're unable to process your deposit request of 5000.00 SGD from the DBS/POSB bank account (****) because of the bank's processing error. This despite I have enough balance in my account. Thanks in advance

Good sharing Demi. Limited pay wholelife plans with multipliers can be a good foundation piece in an insurance portfolio. Stack it with the right term coverage on top. Smashed the like 🙂

Yeah, always buy a consistent amount and only sell when you need the money. You are not an financial analyst, nor a stock analyst. You cannot judge whether the EFT is low or high (well no one can). So the only real way to buy when its "low" is to always buy at the same amount. That way, you are always buying when its at its lowest. This is a protip to everyone. Never invest based on speculation or emotion. You are just gambling if you do.

@jimtong6 күн бұрын
I do agree with you. I have life plan, bought at early part of my life. But for now, I got a term plan, mainly is to protect mortgage in case of my passing. Always make a plan to review your policy at every stage of your life. Thanks for sharing. If you are asset rich with large holding in your investment, probably you do not even need a life plan.

Is endowment consider some sort of whole life? I had a endowment plan that sounds similar to yours, coverage up to $90k and have multiplier component too. Pay for first 15 years only (3k each year) and can choose to hold up till 120 years, meaning I can transfer to another person in the case of the policy outliving me.
@DemiZhuang5 күн бұрын
Endowments are meant for a different purpose. They are more Wealth accumulation than meant for protection.

Subbed. Waiting for part 2. :D As I aged, I realized that most insurance agent have their own interest at heart more than mine. Had multiple encounters with insurance agents meeting up for a talk and after the meet up, they ghosted me even though they promised to follow up after seeing my existing policies.
