For my brothers and sisters learning this: It is going to take some time to be able to quickly and easily get the knot to look perfectly symmetrical. Just start making knots, maybe practice tying and untying on a small strand of thread. When you get comfortable, make a bracelet and keep doing that. To be able to do thus knot quickly takes lots of practice and patience. I've made 2 bracelets and a 50-knot prayer rope and only just started being able to tie one of these knots (and have it tight) in less than a few minutes. And even so, before I pull the loops through, sometimes it is wonky and lobsided, but that RESOLVES itself (usually) if you just patiently keep tightening different parts of the knot :) Don't worry about being perfect, just get going and get the practice and feel for it!

Excellent tutorial that i link to people to this day. When i was in the hospital i tied prayer ropes and this tutorial allowed me to do that. I suggest tying prayer ropes to anyone who may be going through a rough patch as it really helped me out. If you don't use em I'm sure your local churches would appreciate more tools of worship.

I encourage you to try as often as you have the strength and patience. What you see in this video was the result of failing at least 30 times after watching 5 other tutorials. My way not be the way that works best for you, but if you continue to try, you will find one that does.

It's been years, but I want to say I started with about 10' (around 3m) of each color. I had a lot left over at the end, but it was better to be safe than to run short. I wish I could give you a per-knot number; I did 50 knots for this one, which would be 2-3 inches per knot if I'd used all my cord.

I'm sorry I took so long to reply, but I had trouble at that stage, too. I just wound up being very particular with how I held them on my fingers. If you still have tricks after that, you might try using stitch counters or baby pins. Close them around (not through!) the cord of the loop, and it should help you keep them separate if they fall again.

We have evidence from many sources that can add up to convincing proof, beyond doubt. Many points of evidence are in falsehood baked into all other options. You are right that faith is an essential element, but it’s not blind faith or leaping faith. Everyone practices faith, even if they deny it.

If there's proof beyond doubt, then you have no reason to have faith. [Hebrews 11:1]
@tinytotsdiaperservice9214
@tinytotsdiaperservice9214 2 жыл бұрын
@@-Ravenscroft- There are different kinds of proof. There is proof because something is repeatable and can be seen. Then there is proof like before a court of law that is not repeatable as evidence, but the evidence of the event from multiples sources, even excluding eye witness evidence, is still proof for conviction. The Bible says "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1 This is evidence unseen, yet the process of faith in seeking evidence finds proof in multiple sources of evidence all pointing to one conclusion. This faith does not demand that others agree, but seeks to share the evidence with others so they can have the benefit of assurance and hope in what the evidence points to. Those who oppose faith in evidences from the Bible, must also have faith to believe their alternative evidences, even if they claim they are not spiritual at all. Every belief that involves the spiritual parts of life in this universe, or even those who reject any spiritual parts of this universe all require faith. Some faith requires a larger leap due to lack of evidence. People are willing to make larger leaps of faith because they want the conclusions offered by their alternative faith.
