Clara Oswald. Unorinically the best companion for the 11th and the 13th Doctors. As good as her chemistry was with Smith, its actually better with Capaldi.

That Clara character was soooooo... insufferable. Her only purpose was to torture and belittle and lecture the Doctor. He should have dumped her on some unihabitable moon some where. Capaldi was just awesome and classic doctor.

Clara didn’t “torture and belittle and lecture the Doctor.” You’re just angry that a female companion holds the Doctor accountable for his words and actions. You seem to enjoy the Doctor - his selfishness, abrasiveness, wit and intelligence - since you call Capaldi “awesome.” So it’s quite telling that you find those same traits “insufferable” in Clara. Because a woman should know her place, right? So unkindly piss off and take your rubbish opinions elsewhere :)

@@lucaswrites Oh my... hit a nerve. I see where your mind is set by making this a gender thing. The Doctor keeps companions who are mostly prickly women to be used as a bounce board to help him decide his actions and to keep his moral compass aligned. Being female is not even a requirement. The Doctor is inherently a male figure and his companions are male or femake. The females are usually pricly such as Amy Pond, River Song (my favprite), Donna Noble, etc. This Clara character was unusually prickly and Capaldy did set her rightly "in her place" more than once. Past Doctors also did this. Other companions such as Nissa and Edric fit this role well. Its a TV show made for children. You may also try to keep your rubbish opinions to your self.
