Inazuma's archon quest suffered from being jammed into 3 patches with not enough acts. I'm glad Hoyo both learned from this by extending Sumeru's quest and any foreseeable Archon Quest and doing events that help flesh the region out. Hopefully they do something with Enkanomiya one of these days, or even the Chasm...

What they do to the traveler is basically the same thing they do to Vegeta in Dragon Ball. Whenever a powerful opponent appears, he first makes Vegeta his punching bag. That way the audience has a reference point for the character's power. now this is not working with the traveler because from the beginning he is not presented as someone very strong (even if he is supposed to be some kind of deity)

I don't think the Fatui wanted to act against ITA. They probably just asked for crystal marrow as a part of their deal, so the Kanjou commission asked for it hoping to both press ITA and that they will actually find some more of it in their place. Idk if anyone talks about that theory, but I think the Fatui cooperated with both Kanjou commission and Kokomi during the war. As you may remember, one of their goals was to extend the war, and that is easier to execute when having connections with both sides. Remember the delusion distribution? So I think Kokomi was perfectly aware of that, and agreed because without the food, supplies and additional power she would have no choice but to surrender in the near future. The fact that Kokomi could mark one place she thinks the delusion factory might be at also points at it. It wouldn't be hard for Hoyo to have the traveler to check three different places in the quest, but Kokomi knew exactly where is the factory, so she just told the traveler the correct answer. I don't remember how much Kokomi knew about traveler abilities, but he/she did defeat a Fatui harbinger by then, so perhaps she was hoping the traveler will purge the threat (Fatui) from Inazuma and will give watatsumi a proper chance at victory.

I still wonder why the Abyss sibling cares so much about the fate of Teyvat. They both surely traveled a lot of places and got caught in a lot of cases, no? Is it because they got caught in Teyvat for longer than they planned? Even to the point that when they finally meet their other sibling, they just refuse to be with them only to carry on with their mission?

I thought it was weird how Kokomi and Gorou were being overly serious about rescuing random animals during the war with the yashirou commission, and how it could hurt their reputations if word of it got out. As well as Heizou having to keep quiet about it all. This makes much more sense now 😅. I even read that “misplaced” evidence from Heizou and apparently shut off my brain when I read “Wiesel thief”. This might also be because the game rarely asks you to think all that much about its story, I wasn’t expecting to need to read between the lines.

If Lumine has already taken the same path as Aether, just in a different timeline, then there's a huge chance she've met the original Archons. While she's busy dealing with the war, Aether's busy with the "aftermath" of sorts. I know their paths with cross again, and I know we'll fight alongside each other in the end.

This is why I still have Inazuma in a special place in my heart. They really did so well for that region. I’m not saying I have problems with Sumeru or Fontaine, it’s just that everything felt so great during the time Inazuma came out, and when I took the time playing through each and every one of what it had to offer as it kept being updated. And even now, with this event, so many things have been uncovered about something a lot of us finished so long ago. It’s great how they understand how Inazuma is still an amazing part of the game.
