Yea a couple drops of tea tree oil & water in a spray bottle helped a lot, just make sure u do it before u go outside so your hair drys naturally. Stops the itch and makes your hair look nourished

What moisturizer do you use?
@Swangels3Ай бұрын
You moisturize with any products or you use oil. I’m going to have them cut down an inch or trimmed. Can you do a video on moisturizing your hair?

I started my locs in October 2017 after a big chop, but didn't like the methods used by the stylist and combed them out. Second time and I believe what will be the last time, February 6, 2018. Ephesians 2:6 is my verse to stand on with this set. I got them done the day after being released from the hospital. So much has happened up until now and I've grown, I feel like at this 6 year mark I'll have locs until the Father calls me home or Jesus returns. Whichever comes first. LoL

Welcome back to KZfaq Spiffy! I have missed your videos. Your message and inspiration has been missed so I am glad to see you post. Thanks for the message you shared! These are still important reminders even for those who have had their locs for a long time. I am doing fine. Allergies trying to win at the moment but I’m doing fine overall. I just hit year 15 of my loc journey.❤

New subscriber this past January 2024 my locs turned 5 years it took a lot of willpower because I am someone who was wearing box braids for at least 20 plus years I was even surprised that my locs have grown past my shoulders because I have never had long hair as an adult the longest my hair ever was before locs collar bone

Your skin absorbs what ever you put on your skin. Including the fabric softener you use on your cloths. You talk about research. Lol fabric softener is probably safer than oils as it won't clog your pores.
@BeSpiffyBeYou4 ай бұрын
I don’t use fabric softener and the oils I use on my scalp does not clog my pores.. thank you for your comment!

You look beautiful! You are not your hair! It sounds like there is some inner turmoil that you may be experiencing and somehow you're projecting it towards what's most visible: Your hair! Pray you figure it out!🙏🏽
