Yup - I have it in my Gravitas Ultemate Vac, that is so so sweet combined with a flexy nib

I couldn’t say - but since they wash so easy, one may assume that they don’t stand the test of time like something more permananet (if we can say “more permanent” to define inks that stand better the water test and are not permanent by nature)

Tho the gold content of the nib doesnt dictate the overall performances, I can tell you 14k gold nibs feel a lot softer and more gentle than an 18k, to this point - it matters more what is stamped on it or how it feels in writing? Have a look online at what are the average prices on an edition that numbers 3 pens :D then ... 2000 isnt that far out there. Anyway - I think we should start a challenge in showcasing more handwriting both on the channel and overall in our social media ? isnt this a good idea? All that pens... and still not as much writing

@@pen.venture Thank you Emy for this detailed response. I agree that we need to show more handwriting, both on the channel and in general on our social media. Too many fountain pen enthusiasts are more concerned with comparing and collecting inks, making lists, collecting as many series of fountain pens as possible, showing them and reviewing them, but write surprisingly little. About myself I can say that first of all I write, I mean studies and literary work. You are right, the pen should fit well in the hand and feel good when writing, what is written on the nib is unimportant. In any case, steel nibs are my preference. I like that typical 'stiffness'.

@@pen.ventureYou're right, it is a small nib, but I like to write and especially much more beautifully with a smaller nib. Same with the Parker IM; small nib, but writes beautifully. As always, it is of course a personal preference.
