1. Completely detangle your hair with slippery detangler. 2. Section and shampoo/clarify. 3. Apply protein. 4. Apply heat for 5-10mins. Until product is sticky, but not dry. 4. Add conditioner that conditions and moisturizes. Massage into hair to break up hard cast. 5. Rinse after 15-30mins. Product on hair for ~40mins. Adjust your application for your hair type.

My honest hair growth journey: focus on sleep, keep scalp cleanliness, shampoo less and hydrate more, get frequent trims, brush hair daily, and use liitlllextrra reactivaate serum regularly. It includes rosemary and other helpful ingredients that consistently promote the growth of fresh baby hairs.

hair does not have a PH, the PH mentioned in scientific literature is the pH of the F layer, which is a layer that contains fat+water provided by the relative humidity of the air, not the protein itself. PH can only be measured in an aquatic environment when a substance ionizes the water, and for ionization to take place, this matter needs to be dissolved to release its charges into the water, when you wet your hair it does not fall apart.

cuticle does not raise or lower. What occurs is a radial expansion of the cortex that pushes the cuticles, increasing the space between them. This movement is called swelling. No serious scientific literature states that the human hair cuticle can open and close. If you find an article that says this, it is very possible that it was commissioned by a brand to defend its own interests, such as selling products that "seal cuticles" and "balance pH", hair does not have pH but rather pI( isoelectronic point)

I rarely use heavy products unless I’m going to an event and need hairspray/mousse so no need for clarifying shampoos unless I’m doing a chemical treatment. I also like Camille Rose but they don’t need to put an oil in a shampoo

It may also have a relationship with the climate, in cold weather the hair will take a long time to evaporate and water would stay in contact with the hair for a long time, which would harm it.

You are incorrect when you say "Ain't nobody with curly or coiled hair out here trying to use a water base or moisture product in there hair" first off do you know how many people live on the planet ?You can not know nor speak for over 8.1 billion people in the world. I mean, for real, people are actually putting baking soda in their hair, trying to remove hair color. So, your statement is not only incorrect but also arrogant. Also, your so called credentials are not even close to Sarah Ingle's. ( at the time you made this video) I checked. Stop misrepresenting your knowledge. All you have is offensive arrogance and so you know a scientist would never make the statement you made. Scientist do not assume "everbody" thinks the same or acts the same. It is the the difference in each person that gives us what is called "Variables ". So, in closing please reign in your self inport arrogance.

I really liked this video and I know I am a bit late to the game, but it's still relevant! I have been looking at different ways to handle my unruly wavy hair and fell on CGM and on this video. One thing I dislike about CGM is that it sort of has this 'holier than thou' aura since it purports to get you healthy hair with usually "green", "clean", low poo products that are sulfate-free and silicone-free! The no poo movement is sort of the same. The message is always sulfates bad, toxic, evyl, polluting! I tried low poo before it was a thing and it gave me a bad scalp condition. I tried CGM's mechanical suggestions (finger detangling, squish to condish, that kind of stuff) and I ended up pulling out more hair than I ever have while in the shower. Once out of the shower, I looked like a frizz ball, which takes some doing because my hair usually lies flat on my scalp and coils or waves anywhere from above the ear to just past my neck. That was the only thing I was interested in out of the whole CGM. Co-washing is a terrible idea if you have an oily scalp like me, low poo is terrible for the same reasons (and even worse if you have hard water). Honestly, in my view the best message they send out is to adapt to your curls, waves, coils, and try to find what works out best for them and not to straighten them away as soon as they appear. This is a good lesson for me because my mother and grandmother both had "frizzy hair" and thus forced straight hair onto me to "fit in" to what they believed was socially acceptable.
