Being a family is the most beautiful thing on earth. Nothing is more important than what you guys are doing. Watching you guys made me realize how trapped I have become in my life, living in Canada, raising my children alone since my son was born.

uggh the wildlife sabotage is brutal..this was the darkest episode yet could you use metal cages around the trees until they grow big enough to survive? or could you consider planting trees that are already big enough but imported from elsewhere?

Ive used a camping oven to bake bread over a wood stove, Its super fun and easy. Also setting up an outdoor fire heated bath tab is a must so you can look up at the stars at night.

Thank you for your kind comment Khris, it's nice to know we are missed! We are all doing great, just waiting to get our hard drive back from Madrid (where it is being fixed after the fire) and then we can post the video that is on there, very soon we hope! In the meantime we are working on finishing the compost toilet so hopefully that video can come out soon after too, thank you for your patience, and for the love!

The wild pigs could come handy for some wild meat. Good for the controlling the environment and good for you to start getting into curing or smoking meats.

Curing and smoking wild boar meat sounds pretty great! Wish we had someone to come and show us how to do it, have you done this before?! In the long run we're definitely going to try and live off the meat around us, it just feels like we need a lot of skill and experience to actually catch one and then prepare the meat and store it!

@@ladyandtheowlman I have not but I enjoy the whole living sustainably; hunting for food and creating pelts while learning to cure meats via the school of youtube. Some great channels on those particular subjects, just like anything on here. Just don't start too many projects before finishing others, trust me on this one, haha

Thanks for the comment Javed! Robbie went through some tough times a few years back and found a love for owls, he made lots of homes for them and they made him feel better. Haha, it's a long story, but stay tuned and we'll discuss more in future on the channel!
