I've watched many videos on how to make a lined stocking and this is by far the easiest, no-fuss instruction video to follow. Note, the quality of the finished product is quite nice. Thank you.

We carried these bags in high school back in the 70's. I forgot how much I loved these bags. With the bell bottom hip hugger pants, platform shoes we thought we were so cool!

Great Pattern. This was visually very easy to follow. I am a senior and can appreciate the step by step approach. (I had to turn down the volume to bypass the music, though). Yet, I am so glad I didn’t any important verbal instructions. Thankful. 😊

Hello. I have a quick question. I am absolutely new to this. Can I make Kombucha from fruit tea instead of black or green tea? Also, can I blend the fruits before I put them in the bottle to ferment it? Thank you :)

I am so excited that I came across your channel and cannot wait to get started on my scoby. I have a few questions for you. How many times can you use the same scoby and I saw the jar that you stored them in. Do you store it at room temperature or in a frig??

What condition do you ferment the scoby? Cool dark, warm, etc. I started a batch 6 days ago and I don't see anything forming except particles around the top. Do I need to start over?

Am I missing something...? Isn't Borax banned in Canada & Europe because of it's toxicity? We all know the US is behind on catching these things... however, in the article below the US EPA states, .... ["classifies it as a "moderate" accute toxicity substance. ] Wouldn't using it weekly on your laundry, be considered...['prolonged exposure'}? Borax was meant to be used as a stain remover, infrequently, as needed...not for daily regular use as laundry detergent. (see below) * One of many articles online...(cut & pasted) __________________ *Why is borax banned? Borax is not banned in the US. However, the EPA classifies it as a “moderate” acute toxicity substance, meaning it can cause harm in higher doses or prolonged exposure, especially if it is ingested or comes into contact with eyes. In the European Union, borax has a more severe classification. Borates, Borax, and Boric Acid: Are They Safe? - Poison Control poison.org www.poison.org › articles › borates __________________________ ** My comment: If our skin, is our largest organ...and absorbs what it comes in contact with...why???? Why would we use Borax on our clothes regularly? Rinse or no rinse....it isn't all gone. Every detergent we use...leaves a lingering smell which means the products we put into our washing machine, has absorbed into the fabric of our clothes...towels, etc. It's still present on the fabric. Wouldn't that then be exposing our skin to it? Please, I request that someone offer some helpful feedback....backed by facts....so that we're not all endangering our families, especially those with small children, or members with sensitive immune systems. This is another article...that was quite an eye opener. You all can decide for yourself... Be sure to read article to the end...the introduction talks about digestion of borax, but it goes on to further discuss the dangers of exposure in many forms including cleaning agents. www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/324167#takeaway

Our house is at 69-70 degrees and it produces scobys year round no issue. The warmer it is, the faster the scoby will form.

I may be dense but I don't get it. I can't figure out what kombucha even is! I Googled what is kombucha and still don't understand what it is! If kombucha is fermented tea why do you need to purchase kombucha? I was hoping to make kombvucha from scratch but it sounds like you absolutely can't do it that way. No matter what you do you have to buy the kombucha. I'm sorry I'm just really confused. It doesn't seem easy to me. Can you ferment wine and use the scoby from that instead of Kombucha or is kombucha something totally separate? After all this if it turns to kombucha vinegar you have to start all over again! Does it have to be black or green tea can it be a flavored tea like peppermint or chamomile? I appreciate the step-by-step directions I guess I'll keep trying to figure it out LOL

Thanks for your video. For method 1, how do I know when the new white scoby is ready for me to transfer to a new batch of tea? When it is ready, do I just take the white scoby film off the top and put that into my new batch of tea? Or do I need to transfer some of the liquid as well, or anything else?

Does it matter if the store bought kombucha is flavored, or does it have to be original plain flavored? I’m not fond of black tea, and would rather only use a green tea kombucha, like the ones made by Brew Dr.

WHAT? You aren't making it from scratch if you're buying the kombucha from the store and adding that?????? "I'm going to make my sandwiches from scratch, so I buy some slicked bread, some butter, some sandwich spread, and put it all together". WHAT A CROCK!
