This is what happens when people think that miles are more important than maintenance aswell as reving the engine before it’s at operating temperature🤬🤬🤬

To the naysayers talking about this vehicle getting stuck let me give you a personal example of how utterly retarded you have to be to get one stuck. I was in Iraq at night and had just loaded a Bradley on my trailer. If I’m correct a Bradley weighs about 32 tons ( just checked, Wikipedia says 30.4 short tons). My TC and I had finished chaining it down and raised the trailer to the correct ride height for driving and set off across an open area that was comprised of loose sand that you could easily dig a fighting position in with an E-tool. The truck seemed a bit bogged down but I figured the trailer tires were just sinking a bit in the sand and the truck was dealing with it noticeably but with little effort. When we got to the staging area roughly 300 yards on the other side I went to set the brakes and realize the trailer brakes had never been disengaged. I looked at the trailer to see if I had cooked the brakes but realized that the 40 wheels had never rolled the entire time and I had literally dragged the 25 ton trailer with an additional (30 ton) load through sand and not gotten stuck even though the CTIS system of the truck was still set to highway and I had not felt the need to lock in the front axles, meaning I was only pulling with the rear 6 tires. With full tread depth and a competent driver/ operator it is VERY difficult to get these trucks stuck in anything but fine silt. I have seen idiots get them buried up to the “dog boxes” though and that gets fun trying to get them out without another bobtail or a wrecker to yank you out.

Wenn das das Beste ist, was der Ami zu bieten hat, nein danke, Schrott haben auch andere Nationen, aber die kommen wenigstens mit einem leeren Trailer klar.🤭🤔🤫

I just learned about this. My friend has a big diesel dually Ram pickup. I shared it with him and he didn't know about diesel runaway either. They should tell you about this when you buy one. I assume his truck has protectiion, it was about a $70k truck, new when he bought it. But i think anyone with a diesel should keep an extinguisher handy and hace a plan to spray it into the intake.

Oil leak at the turbo is the most common cause for this. It's my biggest fear with my Duramax. And it's not common, so I'm not worried about a lot… :-)

02:05 it sounded like a subaru accelerating and that is insane since that's a old diesel engine and if it's doin the same revs as a modern boxer engine that's really bad.
