I have only one question on this issue: "What's to discuss?" The true Christian Church is built on the inspired, inerrant and eternal Word of God. What is going on in the Church of England reveals the utter apostasy of that organisation which has signed away any right to call itself a "church." Time to "Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues" (Rev. 18:4) - I know this is quoted out of context - the context being the imminent judgement of Mystery Babylon in the Tribulation, but it applies, nonetheless. God makes it quite clear that homosexual behaviour is an abomination and anyone who practises it will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven. The Church of England talks about "love" and faith. What they are doing is loving these people all the way to Hell. Rather than wasting their time following the immorality of the world, their time should be spent sharing the Gospel - the Good News of Jesus Christ who is the only Way to God the Father and salvation. True Christians do not hate homosexuals - we love them enough to want the best for them and to warn them of their imminent judgement and eternal separation from the God who loves them enough to have sent His Son to die for their sin. Not once in this video was the Bible mentioned or quoted. I know Dan is simply reporting what is going on, and he is being brave and faithful to do so but it would be nice to have heard him preach the Gospel somewhere... I have watched the Church of England decline since I was born again 40 years ago. Decades ago, several true believers, men of God, published prophetic messages calling for the repentance of the leaders and turning back to God and His Word. These repeated warnings have been ignored. If you read Romans 1, you see the pattern - if they do not turn back from their wicked ways, God will give them over to all kinds of sin and debauchery. Their hearts will be hardened and they will be forever lost. "As it was in the days of Noah... in the days of Lot..." God is not endlessly patient and His judgement eventually falls, as the whole counsel of God's Word clearly reveals. Time to leave the sinking ship of denominational "church," and if you are truly saved, recognise that you are a member of the Remnant Church in these Laodicean days, the true Body of Christ, who have faith in Christ alone, based on the Bible alone.

Praise be to God for his unashamed delivery of the Gospel. He took his opportunity while he had it and he is now no longer an MP. May all the Bible Clubs and Fun Days run by churches over the Summer also take their opportunities to give the full Gospel not just, "God loves you," or "God has a plan for you," "Dance because God is watching," or a thousand other fudges that means nothing to non-Christians. The time is short and we are often not telling the lost the Good News that although we are sinners Jesus paid the price! Ask for forgiveness and turn from your sin in Jesus' name and there is reconciliation with your creator and a new life of hope glorifying His name as well as a heavenly eternity serving Him to come!

The weeds are all too apparent! (Mt 13). It’s time to humbly re-assess one’s proper worship. One prediction relating to the last days is Isaiah 66;1,2 where God says he’ll be looking for a people ‘contrite’ and following His word. Thats currently the global commission given us by Christ himself; to unitedly preach Gods ‘good news of the Kingdom’ to ‘every tribe and nation’. It may be a hard pill to swallow, but you should be able to recognise that JWs are uniquely worshipping the ‘true God’ (the Father), doing His will in yoke with Jesus (the ‘Way’ to the Father), and unique in their neutrality and peace-making in every land. Yes you can use your KJV or any preferred translation; they use all of them.

He clearly would not agree with the majority of people giving voice here. To be a Christian is to follow the teachings of Jesus. If you disagree with him, you're not a Christian.

I really like this approach. It has always disturbed me as a Christian, that Bible Study, and Church, and Christian Fellowship is always so cringe, as you say. It has become obvious to me that the old way is no longer working and may never have worked, to be honest. Truth, however, is not cringe. Truth is natural. And we, as Christians, have the truth and all of our Fellowships should therefore be natural and not cringe. To expound upon your video I have come up with an 8 step approach for Fellowships. Any food/drinks can happen in the 15 minutes prior to step 1. My main ideas here are to maintain control of the meeting and set proper boundaries for all to follow so that it doesn't get too cringe. 1. Start with Acknowledging God and Worship (silent prayer or meditation) 2. Opening prayer 3. Next, acknowledge the goal of every meeting is for Salvation and/or Spiritual Growth (set the mood and boundaries) 4. Give the Bible Lesson (15-20 minutes) 5. Again, acknowledge God and worship giving thanks for the message (silent prayer/ meditation on the lesson) 6. Call to Salvation and/or Spiritual Growth - Life Application of the message - Provide a brief understanding of Discipleship and Baptism (exhort everyone to keep the commands of Christ) 7. Closing prayer 8. Open discussion and Dismissal (if step 5 gets out of control, remind everyone there will be open discussion after the lesson is over.)

The Uniting Church in Victoria Aust like the Episcopal Church went down the Pathway on Gay relationship's. I can still remember one of the high profile persons saying we will be flooded with new people. Sad to say there has been a large drop off the members. The situation is now dire, Church building sold, there are good islanders pastors from other states who have no interest in taking up a ministerial position. Take heed

Thank you Dan. Another clear message from you on this issue and the state the Bishops have got themselves into. The maintenance of secrecy of the previous meetings is all too obvious and now the ludicrous request to GS to vote for/against ... what? We do not know. My reading and study of the Church Fathers up to say 350 or so can only make me think that they would, to a man, be utterly appalled by the acceptance of the PLF by the Bishops and to be asked to vote for clergy to be in civl same-sex marriages (even to consider it) is beyond the pale. So there is now no way back. Now we have our own Bishop, who voted for PLF, to be voting against stand-alone services, is this double-minded or what?? If he feels conflicted then he only has himself to blame. Then to recommend to his own Churches that they do not make any decision on this, nor speak out about it or publish any decisions either way and to be assumed to be opting out unless they opt in (Bath and Wells open letter, January 2024)... what nonsense. And I mean non-sense. Our small group are in a bind on this and our close families dismayed.

Alas, I think it was destined from the start. Going by what was said in this video, the younger generation of CofE priests are Bible believers, which begs the question of why your superiors (Bps, Abps) are not. The obvious explanation is they became influenced by secular culture, specifically the sexual revolution of the 1960s. The king of England is still officially the guardian of the church, but we all know how religious KC3 is (not at all). Five of us at our parish here in Canada had an extended review of the LLF paper, myself as warden, our English priest and 3 others - it declares openness to all views but a "bent" clearly appears - we gave it a good hard look and many hours of meetings on whether to bring it to the parish - unanimously turned down and scrapped - we are a conservative parish in the Anglican church of Canada, a feat in itself

All this talk of theological reflection etc. is nothing less than an attempt to have time to manipulate the situation so that SIN can be made central in the doctrine of the CofE. When are the bishops going to take a BIBLICAL theological position and uphold the teaching of Holy Scripture, and condemn the SIN. There can be NO such thing as same sex marriage......marriage is a creation ordinance and is and can only be between a man and a woman. People with a Biblical Faith must "come out from among them and be separate says the Lord" as the writer to the Hebrews makes abundantly clear.

I still can't see how we can move forward when I am still not given any clue how the Bishops are going to try and square a circle over, for example, allowing clergy to enter same-sex civil marriages without changing the doctrine of marriage or creating a raft of clergy who are going to affirm their support of the doctrine of marriage while living in defiance of it. It is very simple. God created an Image of Himself. This is so God can see Himself in all the layers of awareness from mineral to vegitation to animal and then human which developed into Adamas and Eve. Deuteronomy explains that we create what we see by desire. The flow of life was to allow divine thought to create or reflect God's thought so that it could be seen. The knowledge of God and self allows this to happen by recieving higher thought and living it. The next generation of thought which extends out into the world we see is children. They are to take information and become more advanced than the previous generation. The Levites lived seperated lives because they listened to God and taught the people. Intermediaries between lower awareness that simply lives what is seen and higher awareness that desires growth. If the lower awareness of the body dictates to the higher mind, you have what God predictrd in Genesis. The snake will attack Eve. A king is not to set himself above others because he has the duty of vate to think and share thought that brings together the community into resembling or reflecting God here on Earth. Hence you say Our father who is Heaven. Hallowed is your name.Your kingdom come. Your will be done here as in Heaven. Give us our daily bread. This means let us be like You and not us. Forgive us for neing us and stop us from being us because you are everything in which we live. God said to Pharoah, I Am God not you and I will prove it. I have a scripture for you. 2 Timothy 3:2-9 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away. Who will you serve? The "church" of England or God, because you cant have both.

I’m not Anglican and I don’t understand your processes & procedures but all this screams to me that this is being pushed through no matter what and it is being done in a very underhand way, circumventing proper procedure whilst changing doctrine. You either believe and follow the word of God or you don’t.
