I know this is random, but I just rewatched Ragnarok, and then watched the KH REWATCH with you/WinstonWinston. What is the Black Planther thing hanging on the wall? It’s cool af, love your content, I don’t know anything about comics so I come to you for education 👊.

Booster written by McBride would be awesome! I love Eastbound and Down. A few years ago, I was hoping my brother Matt McGorry would play Booster. I got into comics when I read a collection of the Silver Age Superman stories.

That Spidey cover is awesome. I loved the Spider-Man Beyond comics in 2022. I’ve heard mixed things about the recent issues of Spidey. I’ll catch up soon. Wow Solomon is in Poison Ivy! Cool character. I’m enjoying the vid!

Seen it yesterday, the 1st is my daughters favourite movie of all time and as an adult being able to understand all the things going on from a mental health standpoint with each thing they where doing, for me made it and the sequel 2 of the best animated films ive ever seen, its the perfect way to explain certain issues like depression or anxiety to a child without confusing them using these movies, and for that they are top tier, glad you enjoyed it man!

Yeaaah well said 🙂 So far El Bueno beautiful The Acolyte S01 after 3x nice episodes ^^ I look forward to seeing more of this character, Yord & others as S01 goes forward. S01 so far after 3x episodes has good ear massage by soundtrack, nice makeup work & acting 🙂 I always stream via Disney+ at late evening by using "65 Led Telly & 5.1 Headphones 🍵🥪🧘 It's good that Human Species doesn't operate like The Borg does (Trekkie since late -80's just as SW Fan) 🙂 Matter of taste, differing opinions & so on 😋

There is no excuse for bad writing & poor directing. This is Star Wars not some science fiction TV show from the 90s. Star Wars deserves better. There is something seriously wrong at Lucasfilm.

Thanks for the review Coy. I didn't listen to your reviews for a long time because you said something to the effect of when reviewing something if you can't say something nice don't say something at all. Which isn't the best approach when trying to get an honest assessment of the content being reviewed. Honesty, positive or negative should always be paramount. Glad you're taking that approach now. Never stop doing it like this because it's appreciated.

Thank you for this, Coy. I've been really wanting to see this, but was trepidatious about doing so cause the first one set a very high bar and I loved it. Fear of disappointment abated. Can't wait to watch it now.

My absolute favorite part of the movie is when the emotions realize, specifically joy, that Riley needs all of it to truly form truthful perception of the person she really is. The good, the bad, the best, the worst, all of it. We can't push the worst of us to the back of our heads and only focus on the best parts of us. To live a life where anxiety doesn't control every aspect of our life, we need to embrace every part of ourselves. Loving yourself is incredibly hard and it's something that is completely impossible if you keep pushing the worst parts of yourself out of sight and out of mind. The dam will burst eventually. The first step to truly finding your true self is embracing your true self. Not as emotional as the first movie in my opinion but it has a message that is definitely just as important of a message to hear. I loved Inside Out 2! 9/10!

I just got out of the theater myself. Was apprehensive because I love the first movie so much, and I struggled a little with the fact that it was mostly building on the structure and ideas of the first movie, but in the end it really got me (full tears down the face style) and has left me with a lot to dissect and consider. Agree with the recommendation to go see in theaters, ridiculously beautiful animation.

As a mental health therapist, I really loved this movie and appreciate what it does to teach kids (and adults for that matter) about accepting the good parts and the bad parts of one's self. They handled anxiety very well.

I love how honest and upfront you are with your thoughts. A dangerous thing to do in the fandom! But you are doing it the "right" way. Offering your personally opinion, and supporting people's who differ from yours. Can we clone you? Is that an option? We need a million more Coys in the world plz

Another great review Coy! Regarding the recent additions of magic, The Clone Wars and Rebels had a few arcs that heavily featured the Nightsisters and their magic, so it's more a return to magic in the universe, but understand that those who have only seen the live action shows would see it as something new being added. Its all a careful balance between going deep enough for those who take in everything and also making sure the casual viewer can watch without being put off - I can't imagine how hard that must be for writers

Like you, I feel only a few characters are standing out. My main point of interest for this show remains the mystery of what happened, which we're starting to get more info on, but there's definitely still more to learn. I'm also intrigued by the coven's perspective on the Force, that they don't see themselves as dark side; it adds more complexity to that part of the Star Wars universe than I think we've seen in any of the live action media. Because of this I'm still keeping an open mind,; however, I can't help but compare it to reading The Da Vinci Code, where the mystery meant I ploughed through the book, but it wasn't satisfying when everything was revealed. I'm hoping that this show will build to a strong ending; the potential is definitely there; what did the Jedi do that led to Torbin's decisions to take a vow of silence and immediately drink the poison?

Also, have thought about adding a ‘what I watching’ kinda segment to this? Most times we get all caught up just the fandom of pop culture and this might be a good way to test of people wanna see you talk about stuff that isn’t always comic related. I know I’d love to see ya talk about that.
