I was making my first Resin Pour using Alumilite Deep pour epoxy resin and I ran out I still need about another 1 1/2 inches to cover the project. What can I do? Is there a way to avoid a separation line.

The rice suggestion is very helpful! I have a future project of some Sycamore limbs to put into resin for a bowl blank. They are mostly about 1 1/2” diameter with big knots from my daughter and son in law’s yard. Those trees are very messy! Anyway, if I can I am going to turn a bowl with them as a gift. I am an extreme beginner with turning, have turned one practice spindle, and have never mixed any resin. So I had been trying to figure out how to best estimate how much to mix up. Obviously I will do some more simple projects before I attack the bowl.😸
