You should've forged it and hammered it into shape. It would've been easier and less expensive. The knife came out nice but I think cutting a knife out like you did is not really forging. It's cutting an outline out.

hollow axes are not great for cutting or throwing because not a lot of weight is at the head and it ill bounce off

I'd try this but I would look at reference pic for stormbreaker (movies being infinity war and endgame) and fill the spaces with smaller rebar welded to the empty spaces, then I would heat up the top of stormbreaker (axe and hammer) and dip it in oil

I have hit a rotor with a hammer and they don't brake they are tough steel for a cheap knife made with scrap. But I will cut it and spray water and I will not let it get hot. I think that's why lots of people say they suck. I believe that if you put it in a forge and all that it will turn into crap..., but a cutoff wheel sand paper and take my time with the grinder will do it! Lol!!! Let me shut up and get to work!!!!

I'm a mechanic and just thought of making a rough knife for the shop that I can hit and cheap also I made it!, Lol! Brake rotors are though and did some little research and read everybody saying , it's a waste of time they suck and I was about to listen when I saw your video!!!!!!
