Honestly, a lot of SS-13/14 Is plagued with weirdos/shitmins/**Literal criminals** and I've been getting tired of it, the only reprieve of mine was screwed up by admins like G, don't get me wrong, some rules need to be strictly enforced like no NSFW or zero griffing, but some go far and beyond and just make your life misery. I just want to learn C# and make my own SS style game at this point, but it would no doubt attract similar people just due to the small community that is interested in games like this. TL:DR; Jesus this place is fucked.

I gotta say, shout out to Hyper Station, the latter half of it's life when I played on was probably the best times I've had with SS13. The main server closed just two days ago so Memento Mori to Hyper. Everyone was made sure to be adults who entered, everyone in was really good at RP, and just all around it had a really amazing environment and all of us peeps who played on it had an amazing time with it before it shut down. The RP was so good that the lewdness behind it got overshadowed by an amazing multi-crew spanning collective lore for all of the crew members that we built up over years before getting our final stories wrapped up and getting a lovely send off at the end.

fifteen seconds in and we already see some BIIIG bahongas. lol also, fun random fact: Apparently the OG creator of SS13 is a furry. *Truth is, the game was rigged from the start.*

I love SS13, but really only play on Goonstation and sometimes TGMC or TG. I've seen these servers while scrolling in the list and just giggled and their titles and moved on. I never could imagine that there is so much whacky history and crazy freaks out there. SS13 reminds me greatly of the classic GMOD RP servers. You have your good ones that you can screw around with people and have a genuinely good time, but if you dip your toe into the deep end and find the My Little Pony servers..... Everything falls apart. Crazy good video. So much detail.

I've never played SS13, I have no intention of playing SS13, but it reminds me of what the internet used to be, a hellscape of unfettered self expression and I'm glad that such places still exist. To clarify the reason I'm not playing SS13 isn't that I don't think I'll like it, it's because I'm afraid that I will.

Hey people who have played SS13 enough to know the rules, how illegal is it to start self antagonizing after getting turned into a hulk? I tried working with security after all "HULK WISH TO SMASH STATIONS ENEMIES!!!" and the first sec gaurds though thats hilarious, say where are the prisoners lets go. Than a cheif kicked me out and was openly racist to Hulk players. So i was wondering the halls and the cheif comes up and shoves me. So i try and fight him and get shot several times. Upon revival i decided a cop just baited me into a fight than killed ne " HULK DEMAND LEGAL COUNCIL!!!" but there was no one in the court and 2 min till the escape shuttle so i smashed it up a bit and got an admin message asking whats going on. So i told him the RP and he never anwsered. I should of maybe kept demanding a job in sec people were on my side about how its wrong to make a hulk and not let it SMASH!

I ended up trying out ss13 after seeing Charborgs videos on it. If only i knew the absolute shithole i was about to find myself in. But i believe there is always some good to be found, even with a game whos history is as smeared with diharrea and blood as ss13's is. I only play Goonstation and Shiptest, and even with as innocent as those servers are, i am still embarrassed to tell anyone irl that i play ss13, especially because the entire top of the server list is just erp, and VERY morally questionable or straight up wrong erp at that, which i dont want to be associated with.
