Hi I'm in a council flat basic front door. Would 2 of these or 3 stop there door getting kicked in. Thanks in advance
@ManontheOutside21 күн бұрын
The idea of this is to provide enough of a stopping force that somebody gives up and moves on. Thieves don't generally want to make noise so they won't generally kick a door in. But there's an even bigger and stronger version of this meant to protect school doors called the 'lockdown' - you can get it here: amzn.to/3zLWGmR

It only comes in one size as far as I know. I have 2 of them now in case I ever lose one ory first one breaks and they are both the same size. I wonder if it's been updated and now there are multiple sizes. I will check,

This is just a rip off of the campol camping system. He needs to watch posting this or he could end up being sued for copyright infringment
@ManontheOutsideАй бұрын
It's basically a plywood box held together with screws and PVA, with a drawer and table added in. Redcote and Amdro make them too. How can you copyright it? By the same logic nobody could build a mobile phone because Apple already invented it, or nobody could make a house out of bricks.

Good video, I have grand Tourneo same but can’t open tailgate from inside, did yours come with the tailgate release button or did you have it fitted?
@ManontheOutsideАй бұрын
Thanks! I fitted it myself, I worked out how to do it. If you have Facebook, there's a group called "Ford Grand Tourneo Connect Owners". If you join that and search on there for "boot switch", I posted the instructions on how to do it. Took me about a couple of hour, pretty straightforward, and the parts are very cheap.

You are not alone noticing this, I’ve always wondered why people will park right next to you or near when you are parked up on an empty area. I was parked in this huge forest car park the other day which was empty and a car decided to park right next to me, I wasn’t near an entrance or toilet or anything, it’s weird and don’t know why they do it.

Parking is a big talking point, Vinnie. My wife is working in a supermarket, and if I'm picking her up, l like to be in the same spot outside the shop and get angry if someone is parked in it. There is no logical explanation it's probably a territorial British thing. Audi and BMW and Merc drivers like to take up two spaces, usually . It's all crazy, Britain has gone mad, lol.
@ManontheOutside2 ай бұрын
Lol, this made me laugh out loud 😂 When I park in work (there are something like 300 spaces and only about 10 percent ever used), I get annoyed when someone takes 'my' space at the back of the car park. Definitely a strange British thing, lol

Looks Amazing! I would like to ask that in the "bed mode" the driver seat is in the normal position? so the car can be used and you don't have to make the bed every time you want to drive the car? Thanks a lot
@ManontheOutside3 ай бұрын
Thanks! Normally it is, and I've driven it a few times with the bed made. But I now use a portable toilet on the right hand side at the back, and it pushes the whole boot jump further into the car (because the toilet will not fit in otherwise). So I have to roll the driver's seat forward a few clicks. It's still driveable but a little bit tight. But without the toilet in, I can drive without adjusting the driver seat.

I would say no (but am not 100% sure). I know from experience that Coleman cannisters have weird fittings that don't seem to work on non Coleman stoves. I don't buy them for that reason.

Interesting review, but the outdoor camping environment can be much different than your test. How does that stove work if it's in the wind?
@ManontheOutside4 ай бұрын
I don't think any stove works that well in the wind tbh, even my Jetboil blows out in strong winds and that's got a super strong flame. So I also use a windshield with it (you can see this in some of my other videos - I use a 10-plate foldable shield that sticks in the ground). Works pretty well for me.

How long do you think it took and how much in materials? Ibwas going to buy a Campal but at £2k it seems expensive. Also how do rate the van, im torn between this, Berlingo, Courier and Elgrand!
@ManontheOutside4 ай бұрын
Built it over 3 weekends or so. Materials were about 500 in total (including cushions) but probably could have gone a bit cheaper (e.g. not using pocket hole screws and just using PVA), that kind of thing. Prob could have shaved £50-70 ish off. I looked at all of those vehicles - I liked the Tourneo as it had great MPG, more spacious than the Berlingo. I think the Elgrand was very heavy on fuel which was a factor. Only problem with the Tourneos is that they're quite hard to get hold of now.
