Guys I have a big American bully and a cat in my van and 2 Max air fans that blow in and out..... No air conditioner but what I do have is 3 $30 mist chargeable fans that keep my interior cool and my my pets happy

If you pass through San Diego I would like to chat in person , I have a five pound doggy:) I just sold my Travato RV and looking to get a mid roof (drive thru's) transit AWD 130 for easy parking:)

Where you wrote "EW!" in the dust on your van... does that still show from an angle? Someone did "boo" on my truck hood like a decade ago and it still shows. I guess the abrasive dust marred the paint or something.

I visited Quartzite in January. Like you said, it's harder than most people say. I introduced myself to several people and they were friendly, but it was just like meeting someone on the street. You say hi, exchange a few words, and move on. No one approached me! 😮‍💨 I'm an elderly solo traveler and talking with people occasionly would be nice. I think couples would be more successful then singles, but that is just my opinion. I made a connection with a woman who was also staying at a Wal-Mart parking lot. We talked for about 20 minutes and we were both enjoying the conversation, but the mosquitoes began bothering us. Where do you go from there? I felt like it would be wierd inviting her into my van and I didn't want to make her feel wierd about the encounter.

I have an Espar S2D2L, and it breaks down constantly... and I can take it completely apart, and put it back together easily.. ive only used "official" replacement parts... in other words, if I did it over again, i'd buy a chinese heater too

Why is everyone so worried about being liked or fitting in, stop wasting precious time. Your unique and the pleasures one likes are meant to be theirs NOT yours as well, even if you share like hobbies does not mean you enjoy it in the same manner or for the same reasons. Thats what makes life so amazing, just do you and find the happiness in it the rest will take care of its self.. ❤️

i feel ya on th trying to make friend with other vanlifers, its like they are too good to message you back. it is difficult to make friends on the road.

I love the Aspens. Living in Colorado I never miss the chance to go drive though the mountains and see the mountains in full color. Though on my bucket list is to see the fall in New England.

Those rv friges don’t work well in the desert. The dc compressor frigs work in that environment better. Your frig gets it’s cooling from the freezer. Something is blocking the air transfer between the freezer and frig. Those little battery fans help.

The T.V. install was frickin hilarious. That kind of stuff happens to all of us...soooooo don't beat yourself up over it. Is your fridge turned down to being a too cold setting and freezing up the coils? If they get ice on them it stops the air flow around the coils. Try turning it to a less cold setting and it may cool better from not icing up the coils. God Bless...stay safe
