Everyone in my mini league is catching me up since GW28. Funny that none of them watched any FPL youtubes & most of them don't have any DGW players or have any Spurs assets, but they had beat me by 10/20 points each week over the past 7 weeks by just having Everton players or just keeping good single GW players (i.e. Hazard), or just captained i.e. Isak last GW.

Loved the mini league chat! As you say they do go hand in hand. I used to focus on my mini league rival teams and base my transfers/captaincy etc on the players they had, weirdly I now do so much better by completely ignoring their teams and focusing on overall rank instead

Winning the mini league is more fun but aiming for higher overall rank is a one stone killing two birds situation, you are likely to win your mini league if you aim for a higher overall rank. Though winning single game weeks you have to focus on mini leagues by even playing differentials

I think Gordon is more likely to get multiple returns against Burnley than Son or Fernandes. But like you say it is a coin flip. Go with the lowest owned (Fernandes & Gordon)? I assume Fernandes will either play or not. No cameo.

Im 15 points in the lead in my league for 500 quid. i can sell pau and salah for gabriel and gordon for a -4. i have bench boost and second place owns these players. opinions? i have a feeling salah does well sunday only thing holding me back

If its head to head league its a totally different ball game 😂. I was top all year until gw28 onwards, some bad decisions i.e, -8 and -12s, punt on captaincy and getting chips used against you 😢.

On the subject of winning mini leagues...I'm 20 points off top of mine ...n guy at the top has branthwaite. Would you start Pickford and branthwaite Henderson and Munoz and go for it Or mitigate risk and play Henderson and branthwaite?

Prob Pickford/Munoz. I’m don’t think Palace keep a clean but you need to have some differentials to catch up & Muniz has attacking threat.

I've been considering this all week. Who to play.. Son or Gordon? Son was not great in the game against Chelsea. He played 90 mins. The game against Liverpool is only a few days later, they play on Sunday. Son could be tired. Gordon should be fresh for Burnley but he never turns up away from home. I'm edging towards Gordon, it's a better fixture and he's had more rest. But don't be surprised if Son gets a pen and scores well. Gordon could haul although Burnley usually play better at home. Maybe an open game with both teams needing 3 points. Gordon for me

Son is the better asset in the majority of fixtures plus he’s on penalties. Spurs haven’t been great but neither have liverpool.

This season have been horrible for injuries. I dont know how anyone is supposed to finish in a good spot when you are forced to take hit and free transfers on injuries every GW. Bring on next season !!

On Wildcard 35, I brought in Ederson, Thiago Silva, Schar, Bruno Fernandes and Timo Werner (among others). Also took out Gallagher, Saka, Gabriel and Muniz. Sigh.

I'm playing Fernandes, he either plays and will play 90 or he won't play at all. So my first bench will just come on if he doesn't play
