I’ve had them on two one week long week long overlanding trips going through desert, water and snow. So far they are performing as good as new.

That is a nice setup. Quite often, when people get bogged, the rear of the vehicle is typically where the "bogging" occurs. When really stuck, swinging out the tire carrier and opening the rear door might become extremely problematic. You might want to rethink where you store your recovery gear. Behind the front seats might prove to be a better spot.

Great video! Thank you for sharing! For anyone reading comments and planning to visit, unfortunately, the Sugar Shack burnt down December 13th 2023. The Merritt General Store next door has taken over and is now serving food.

why was the idiot in the landrover pulling the cars across the river so fast?
This reminds me of my beginnings in off road, but luckily I didn't find deep water crossings like this. 😂 That was crazy but I'm sure it was a lot of fun.

wtf is the tarp for? in case a bird shits on your bonnet?
@DT-ge8gd19 күн бұрын
@@deceptikhon Haaaa !! Over here we call it a bra !! It's so you can create a bow wave just in front of your car so there is little to no water ingress in the engine bay area. These clowns and their clown "instructors" have no idea how to safely cross a river. So many faults, so many mistakes it was painful to watch...
