I'm pretty sure most of the broken stuff and soft locks can be fixed via a rom patch. Like Q's throwbox being in the air. Just the y position would need to be changed. Easy fix.

I didn't know about that Yun dash recovery glitch. Now my hatred for that character is even more infinite.

The main issue was that Capcom made a kof game and snk made a strrrt fighter game in game play wise. Capcom limited snk character usage as well. All the Capcom boot lickers had to admit that they liked the snk kof style of game play over Capcom. The second issue was thst snk vs Capcom chaos was that the cpu level was at level 20 all the time. Snk gave us an even harder version of super street fighter 2 turbo.

Q being throwable in the air while standing up from a crouch might be the funniest jank I've seen in a fighting game, also Necro's taunt is hilarious, thanks for including it. He, Oro and Twelve are the reason I started liking weirdo characters (and ended up loving Guilty Gear as most of the cast are exactly that)

Honestly, it might be full of jank, but I see more character, personality and diversity in a game where each character has a very distinct game plan than in one where every character's gameplan is confirma a hit into drive rush, corner carry and profit. Balance is overrated

I wonder if Chun-Li in 3rd Strike was basically Capcom's overcorrecting apology to fans for sticking with the SFIII series the whole way through, despite how unpopular it was at the time.

3rd Strike did take long to get the respect it deserves, and yeah gotta have some jank.
